3 Pavilion Rentals Pavilions in Bluebird Park are available to rent. Water and at the end of October, weather permitting. Bussmann Pavilion Accommodates approximately 125 people. This pavilion is equipped with water, electric, and (2) barbeque grills. The renter has the option to book Conner Field if available. $55.00/day ($35.00/day Resident) Lions Pavilion Accommodates approximately 100 people. This pavilion is equipped with water, electric, (1) barbeque grill and is located near the playground. $55.00/day ($35.00/day Resident) Bluebird Pavilion Accommodates approximately 10 people. This pavilion is equipped with (1) bbq grill. $35.00/day ($25.00/day Resident) Ball Field Rentals Rental Information Park Administration Center Room Rentals The Park Administration Center has the room to meet your needs, whether it be a meeting, birthday party or training seminar. All rentals include set up and take down, tables, chairs, screen, and easel. These rooms can be divided into (2) rooms or (1) large room. Renter is required to have receipt showing documentation of the reservation during the facility rental. Payment for all rentals is due at the time of reservation. For all pavilion rentals, cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the reservation date will receive a full refund. If the reservation is made less than 30 days prior to the reservation date, there will be no refunds given. transfer a practice date the renter will need to request it in writing with 30 days notice. City of Ellisville is not responsible for property lost, stolen or damaged. Room Rental Policies Payment is due at the time of reservation. Your rental signed permit. There is an additional fee assessed for each hour beyond normal operating hours. After hour rentals require a (2) hour minimum. $20.00/hour for Residents and Resident Businesses and $30.00/hour for Non-Residents and Non-Resident Businesses. All meeting room rentals require 30 days notice for after-hour rentals. Black out periods for room rentals will be on city holidays or the weekend adjoining the city holiday. Cancellations made within 14 days from the time of the date of issue will receive a full refund. Cancellations made up to 30 days prior to the reservation date will receive a 50% refund. Bobwhite Park - Park Dale Circle 3.10 acres includes a playground, basketball court, bike rack, picnic area with barbeque grill and open space. Cardinal Park - Marsh Avenue/Arroya Trail 6.41 acres includes a bike rack, a multi-use trail and natural park space. Hummingbird Park - Polaris Dr./Hummingbird Hill 2.39 acres includes a bike rack and a multi-use trail. Klamberg Trail - Bluebird Park/Oakwood Farms Estates 0.62 miles of multi-use trail. Meadowlark Park - Clayton Oaks Drive 0.89 acres includes a playground, basketball court and bike rack. Mockingbird Park - Bridgeport Drive 5.13 acres includes a playground, bike rack, picnic table with barbeque grill, a multi-use trail and natural park space. Owl Hollow Park - Palm Bay/Covallis Court 3.16 acres includes a playground, basketball court, bike rack and natural park space. Quailwoods Trail - West Field/Virginia Avenue 8.07 acres includes a multi-use trail and natural park space. Red Tail Hawk Park - Summer Oaks Drive 2 acres undeveloped. Robin Park - Sunny Glenn Ct./Sunnyridge Subdivision 29 acres includes natural park space and is undeveloped. Whippoorwill Trail - Kiefer Creek/Pretoria Drive/Macklin Drive 5.78 acres includes multi-use trail. Woodpecker Trail - Field Avenue/Hilltop Multi-use trail and natural park space. Wren Trail - Hutchinson/Springer Road Multi-use trail. Bluebird Park Tennis Courts The City of Ellisville has (3) public tennis courts located in Bluebird Park. These courts are available but are used in the following priority: Scheduled tennis lessons sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department. Scheduled tennis leagues sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department. Drop-ins that want to utilize the courts when not in use. Ellisville Bike Share Bikes will be available April 1, 2017 Riding a bike can be a lot of fun, a great low impact cardio workout and a wonderful way to enjoy outdoors and explore your community. There are six bicycles that are available to ride in Bluebird Park and the surrounding area. The bikes are unisex and and over. To use a bike just come to the Ellisville Park Administration Building in Bluebird Park and obtain your membership. After you have an Ellisville Bike Share Membership, you will be given a code to unlock the bike and instructions on how to use the bikes. Memberships are free for Ellisville Residents and $10 per non-resident individual and $20 per non-resident family. Individuals must be at least 18 years old to obtain a membership and provide a valid drivers license or state I.D. A helmet should be worn but is not provided. 5 Park Facilities Community Garden in Bluebird Park for Ellisville Residents er The garden will include individual planting plots, access to water and a fence around the perimeter to keep deer from helping ave the garden ready for planting by April 15, As the garden is being constructed this winter/spring this date is weather permitting. The annual fee for a X8plot is $25 for Ellisville residents. You can apply for one of the 40 plots online on se contact Lisa Blumer at lblumer@ellisville.mo.us or call the Parks and Recreation Department at (636) Ellisville Dog Park The Ellisville Dog Park has two separate areas for small and large dogs. The large dog area is.28 acres and the small dog area is.11 acres. Dog water fountains are provided in each dog park area. The park is located in the back of Bluebird adjacent to the back parking lot. The Dog Park is open to Ellisville residents as well as those living outside the City. Each dog is issued and must wear their Ellisville tag at the dog park. Dog Park hours are dawn to dusk daily (there may be times when the park is closed for events, repairs, or due to inclement weather.) Annual Dog Park Memberships are $40.00 (up to 3 dogs per household) and are available online at our website or at the Park Administration Center in Bluebird Park Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. To register your dog, you will need documentation showing proof that the dog has been spayed or neutered, and current rabies and bordetella vaccinations Ellisville Dog Park Open House Back by popular demand, there will be a Free Dog Park Open House on Saturday, May 6 from 10:00 a.m. noon. s a great chance to try out the dog park before becoming a member, and its also an excellent time for current members to meet other dog park members and their dogs. 7 The Edge Aquatic Center Kid s Play Were opening up the EDGE Splash Pad especially for kids 6 and under on Monday and Thursday mornings from 10:00-11:15 a.m., June 5 - August 14. Kids Play may not be held if it is raining or when the temperature is below 75 degrees. Season passes cannot be used for Kids Play. 9 Swim Team Ellisville/Wildwood Gator Swim Team Online registration - Once you are registered your Team Unify account will be activated, and you will receive an with instructions on how to sign up for your work assignments. Ages 5-18 (as of May 31, 2017) are invited to join the Ellisville/Wildwood Gator Swim Team. The team will compete against other municipal teams in the St. Louis County Area. Emphasis is placed on sportsmanship and learning basic skills while having fun! Please note that swim team is NOT a substitute for swim lessons. Important Registration Information - Registration starts February 1 To register go to When your registration is complete your Team Unify account will be activated within 48 hours, and then you will receive an with instructions on how to sign up for your work assignments. Volunteer shift sign---served basis. Work Assignments All families will be required to sign up for (2) volunteer shifts, in addition to conference meets if your swimmer participates. Swim Team Assessments grab the wall or lap lane. We do not expect your swimmer to have a perfect stroke. These steps are taken for safety precautions, as we want to ensure your swimmer is able to meet the requirements needed for practices and meets. If your Practices and Meets The season lasts from May 30 - July 20, Monday-Friday. 10 Tennis Leagues/Tennis Lessons Spring Tennis Lessons Future Stars (4 to 7 yrs. ) 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. This program is developed by the USTA, and is an exciting way to help kids learn and play the game of tennis. Even if your child has never picked up a racquet before, Future Stars Tennis stresses the importance of actually playing the game of tennis, having fun playing with their friends, and developing skills that will become the foundation of their game Beginners (8 to 16 yrs.) 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. This program is developed by the USTA, and is an exciting way to help kids learn and play the game of tennis. Even if your child has never picked up a racquet before, Beginner Tennis stresses the importance of actually playing the game of tennis, having fun playing with their friends, and developing skills that will become the foundation of their game Intermediate (8 to 16 yrs.) 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. This program is designed by the USTA. The goal is to get children playing the game as quickly as possible so they can enjoy the experience of hitting balls back and forth over the net. Participants must be able to rally back and forth a few times. Adult Tennis (16 plus) 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Learn the fundamentals of tennis including forehand, backhand, volley, serves, etc. This lesson is also designed for tournament level players who want to advance in stroke analysis and tactics. 12 Camps Voyager Day Camp Ages This day camp provides youth the opportunity to participate in a wide range of fun and adventurous outdoor activities. Please bring your own lunch and drink. Similar to the TV show, campers assemble into teams and compete with one another in a series of physical and metal challenges. These puzzles are organized and presented by counselors at a variety of stations, whose whereabouts remain hidden throughout Bluebird park. The Amazing Race will be more fun than youve ever had before! With it, it will also be challenging, thought-provoking, and of course, require lots of team work and patience. Session 2: Our Heroes Get ready for an adventure of heroic events as we salute our heroes. We will learn about and meet real life super heroes and show them our appreciation for keeping us safe. We willget an up-close look at an ambulance, K- their daily jobs and what they can do to help prevent crime. Campers will also engage in traditional camp activities, swimming, and sports. Session 3: Galaxy Adventure Ever wonder what it might be like to be an astronaut? What are stars made of and how do they burn? Are there other solar systems out there? From space travel to black holes, well investigate our place in the universe.
