1 Congratulations to the Allen Archery Team for winning the 2015 Texas State Archery Tournament! The Eagles are back to back state champions!!!! The team braved the icy weather to head to Belton, TX on Thursday, Mar. 5, 2015 to compete at the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) s State Tournament. The team had a great showing taking home 1st place as a team with an overall score of 3340, and sealing their second straight State Championship. This also qualifies the team to compete at the National Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky Senior Trevor Hoberg took 1 st place in the male division and top score for the entire tournament with a 293/300 earning him a trophy, $3000 scholarship and a limited edition bow. Melissa Patterson took 1 st Place in the female division with a 289/300 earning her a trophy, $3000 scholarship, and new bow. Derek Patoskie Placed 5 th male and Dorothy Cobb Placed 5 th in the female division each shooting a 286/300 earning them each a trophy and $1000 scholarhip. The rest of the results are listed below!
