Contact your Superior Court Registry Manager with any questions. PLEASE INDICATE ATTENDING: LIVE Program OR Experienced GALs may attend VIA WEBCAST* *Experienced GALs may attend Day 2, April 4, 2014, via webcast. Experienced GALs are those with at least five years of experience as a GAL and at least ten 10 completed appointments (cumulative, not annual). 1. Because KCBA is unable to verify which webcast viewers are experienced GALs, it will be up to each county to verify this information. The certificate will clearly indicate that the GAL attended the mandatory training via webcast. Registry Managers will need to check that only experienced GALs are given credit for attending the webcast. If an inexperienced GAL attends the webcast, it will be as if he or she did not take the Day 2 training. Page 6 of 7
