The students shadowed our SEU s Director of ews & Public, observing all daily activities and learning about career opportunities in the broadcasting. On April 27, 27, our SEU s Director of ews & Public was the keynote speaker at an event for 25 students from Temple University s student radio station. Topics discussed included career opportunities in the broadcasting On June 6, 27, our SEU s Regional President participated in a leadership meeting for oung Professionals, hosted by the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. At the event, our SEU s Regional President spoke with a group of students about career opportunities in the broadcasting On July 26, 27, our SEU s Director of ews & Public hosted 2 students from the OACAP Career Exposure Program to discuss career opportunities in the broadcasting On July 3, 27, our SEU hosted one student from St. John s University for a shadow day. Topics included career opportunities in the broadcasting On August 23, 27, our SEU s Director of ews & Public spoke with 4 freshman students from Temple University s Communications & Marketing program about career opportunities in the broadcasting Throughout the reporting period, our SEU s General Sales Manager participated in the Philadelphia Ad Club Teen Program. As part of the program, our SEU s General Sales Manager met on a monthly basis with students from Russell Conwell Charter School. The students learned the importance of creative, brand identity, and artist promotion through a variety of radio channels. The program culminates with a presentation of ad campaigns to schools participating in the program. On ovember 2, 27, our SEU s Director of ews & Public hosted 25 students from Gladwyne Elementary School for a station tour and discussed career opportunities in the broadcasting industry with students. RECRUITMET IITIATIVES Date 2/8/28 2/5/28 3//28 3/2/28 Type of Recruitment Initiative (Menu Selection) Participation in Job Fairs Brief Description Of Activity On February 8, 28, our SEU s Director of ews & Public participated on a panel at a seminar on preparing for communications careers at Temple University. A hundred college students were in attendance and topics included career opportunities in the broadcasting industry and the skills needed to succeed. On February 5, 28, our SEU participated in the 28 Klein Career Fair at Temple University. Our SEU set up a booth, collected resumes, and spoke with attendees about career opportunities in broadcasting. Station participants included our Director of ews & Public. On March, 28, our SEU s Director of ews & Public was the keynote speaker to 4 middle school students at the Girl Scouts Beyond Bars Program.
