Join Activity Coordinator, Susan Kinion in listening to various classical music pieces. Join the angels for an easy listening experience and join in singing along to various hymn and spiritual music. Attic Angel song books are a treasure chest of heartwarming music. Join the Angels for a morning sing along. You don t need to have any prior singing experience or a perfect pitch to try it out. It is a great way to meet other people and have fun hearing old songs. For years, Tom traveled the world, collecting and performing maritime songs and stories and captaining sailing ships on the Great Lakes. These days, his passions are even more diverse and include theatrical projects, film projects, and television. The VFW Band is made up of male and female musicians, young and old, who play for the joy of performing. Latimer s weekly set list includes a mix of patriotic music and show tunes, light classics and compositions from the Great American Songbook. The selections are chosen using the conductor s simple formula: there are only two kinds of music good and bad, says Latimer. We try to include good music from all cultures that enlighten, informs, helps and heals people through song. They like to open each year at Attic Angel.
