Home & School Fundraisers Coming Up: Fair Parking at Technicraft: Sacred Heart Home & School Association will be parking cars at Technicraft (1007 North Military Avenue) during the week of the fair. Times will be from 4:30 p.m. until approximately 7:30 p.m. The dates will be September 25-October 1. All of the proceeds will go to Sacred Heart Home & School Association. Mums for Sale: Sacred Heart Home & School will be selling mums starting this coming week. If you would like to purchase, you can contact the School Office. The mums will also be sold after the weekend Masses for September 16th & 17th. They are $15 each or 2 for $25. The proceeds go towards the Home & School Association. Thank You for your support! Grandparents Day: Thursday, Sept. 28th All Grandparents of Sacred Heart Students are invited to join us for a Grandparents Day Brunch, on Thursday September 28, 2017 right after the 8:00 am Mass (8:45). Please come for a brunch in honor of you, our Grandparents! (If grandparents live out of town or are unable to attend, please adopt a grandparent for the day and invite them to brunch.) We will start serving at 8:45 a.m. Please RSVP to the school office by Wed. September 20, 2017.

3 There will be a Parish Council Meeting on Thursday, September 21st at 7:00 pm in the School. If you are a member, please plan on attending this meeting. Thank You. Please Note: Sacred Heart School will be closed on Monday, September 18th. This is a professional development day for the Teachers. School will be back in session on Tuesday! Religious Education Classes The Religious Ed. Classes meet on Sunday mornings from 9:10-10:10 am. If your child/children are in grades kindergarten thru 8th grade, this is a great opportunity for them to learn more about their Catholic Faith and also to prepare them for the Sacraments! If your child will be receiving First Communion or Confirmation, it is recommended that your child attends all of the classes from beginning to end to help them in preparing for the Sacrament. We will also need a baptismal record if your child was not baptized here at Sacred Heart.
