8 What do I do? Steps to Fair 1.- Review the Fair newsletter and 2013 fair book. 2. -Gather up the required project records and complete them. Ask your organizational leader or the Extension Office for help. 3. -Make sure your market livestock records are signed by your leader or get a signature the night of weigh-in at the help desk. 4.- Check your interview times and bring all exhibits related to your project for that interview. If you are in the rabbit, cat, or poultry project your interviews will occur on the day listed. 5.- Market livestock needs to be at the fairground for weigh-in on Wed. July 17th.(check fair schedule for times) You will be taking pictures with your animals at this time so dress in your show clothes. 6.- If you haven't already done so, on the 18th, before your interview, check in at the Pavilion fairground office where you will receive a fair packet with your entry tags, show number, and stall cards Arrive 15 minutes before your first interview. (Dress nice.) You should have all your records, exhibits, stall cards, and smile ready for each interview. 8.- Sit in the designated area and wait quietly until your judge calls you. Interviews sometime take longer than anticipated so be patient. 9.- Your interview judge will ask you about your project, what you liked and learned, and what you would or will do differently When all interviews are complete make sure you know what the rest of your fair schedule is and where you need to be Ask questions!!! Have Fun!!! Interviews take place on Monday July the Columbus High School Cafeteria THANK YOU to all judges, recorders, clerks and other volunteers! To help call -us at Fairgrounds Phone
9 Our family interview schedule Here you can make notes of your interview times for each project and what you need to take to that interview.
