2 FEATURED SPEAKERS: LCSW (Master of Social Work) provides professional development and training to behavioral healthcare professionals throughout New Jersey as part of the New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) workforce development initiatives. She currently provides trainings and consultation services on Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) to DMHAS funded agencies. Ms. Hoover also trains on case management, family dynamics, Trauma-Informed Care (TIC), and person-centered service delivery. She coordinates and supports the New Jersey Basic Screener Certification Training Series and Mental Health Screener Recertification Training Series. Ms. Hoover has more than a decade of experience in behavioral health and human services. Her diverse clinical experience extends across the lifespan working with children and adults in individual, group, and family settings. Specifically, Ms. Hoover has worked with children and families in crisis, individuals diagnosed with a serious mental illness, and those impacted by intimate partner violence and sexual assault. Anna Marie Toto, EdM (Master of Education) has an extensive background in training, program development, curriculum design and in the implementation of education and community-based support/service models. She has organized, led and consulted on statewide and national recovery and wellness initiatives, such as New Jersey s implementation of Illness Management and Recovery and the National Partners for Excellence in Psychiatry: Neuroscience Treatment Team Partner Program, where she also co-authored Solutions for Wellness (2008) and other related journal articles. Partial credits will not be issued to participants arriving late or leaving early. Participants must sign in. Participants must submit a completed evaluation form at the end of the program. Complete, Sign and Submit a "Continuing Education Credit Request Form. (available at the program) Certificates are processed approximately three weeks after the date of program. Certified Counselors: Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care is solely responsible for all aspects of the program. (11.0 Clock Hours). Social Workers (The New Jersey Board of Social Work Examiners): This program is approved for social work continuing education hours by Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care in accordance with New Jersey administrative code 13:44G-6.4 and recognized by The New Jersey Board of Social Work Examiners. Program Goal: To enhance the knowledge of emergency psychiatric screeners regarding trauma and addiction in a crisis setting.
