The month of March has been good for your Post. Our Sunday Fish Fry had a record number of participates and our St. Patrick s Day meal went over very well. The Ladies Aux bought a beautiful cake for the 97 th birthday of the American Legion THANKS. And then, the Ladies Aux put on a wonderful USO Style Show called Thanks for the Memories that drew in over 150 people into our back Hall. Thanks to Connie Jones for directing and coordinating this show. Thanks to all of our Volunteers that made these three fundraisers a big success for the Post. The Post also had our first nominations for Officers at our last General Meeting. We need more volunteers for officer positions such as House Committee to help run and fix the Post as needed. Just get in touch with one of our current Officers on the left side of this page and we can surely use your help. Second nominations in April and Elections are on 10 May, Main events and fundraisers for April are the Fish Fry/Auto Show on the first Sunday, the 1 st District Golf Tournament to raise funds for the Boys State program on 14 April, and the ALR (Riders) Fun Run on 23 April. All of these are fundraisers and help is needed for each to make them successful. So if you can spare a few hours, get in touch with an Officer of the Post and let them know you can help. Membership is over 93% but we still need another 70 to sign up to reach our 100% GOAL for the year. Please help us and get a friend to sign up by 30 April.
