Cruz, Municipality of Palanas, Masbate REMARKS Around 11:00PM, 16 December 2017, Masoline and Matilde were at home when their sons, Dante Romero and Ronnie Romero, left to safe keep their motorcycle at a neighbor's house. However, upon their sons' return, a landslide and mudflow transpired and trapped the two victims inside their house. Previously reported missing. Confirmed dead as of 24 December On 16 December 2017, the victim with her daughter were swept by strong current of floodwaters while evacuating. The daughter survived the incident. Cause of death is asphyxia. The bodies were retrieved on 17 Decemberber Cause of death is due to drowning. 1 Conchita Nemi Nequita 54/F Municipality of Labo, Camarines Norte On 17 December 2017, a landslide incident occurred and hit the victim's house. On 18 December 2017, 10:20 AM, Rosita Abantao reported to the police that her husband and son have not returned yet. The MDRRMO Hinabangan immediately conducted Search and Rescue (SAR) operations and at around 10:00 PM, 18 December 2017, the two cadavers were found in a river near Brgy. Bucalan.
