2 Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) ANNUAL REPORT CY 2017 Pursuant to Republic Act. No otherwise known as an Act Strengthening the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management System, Providing for the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Framework and Institutionalizing the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan, Appropriating Funds Therefore and for Other Purposes, the Hon. Faustino G. Dy III through an Executive Order No. 04 issued on 26 June 2012, creating the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of the Province of. It serves as the secretariat of the PDRRM Council which is the highest policy making body relative to disaster programs and projects of the province. The PDRRM Office is divided into three (3) main divisions namely: the Administration and Training Division, Research and Planning Division and the Operations and Warning Division. With the present set-up, the DART 831 the Rescue Group of the Province under the operationalization and management of the PDRRM Office had accomplished the following programs, projects and activities for the period under review, showing the highlights of accomplishments, to wit: 1.
