PAK DELEGATION FOR 23RD WORLD SCOUTS JAMBOREE - JAPAN 22nd World Scout Jamobree is being held Iftar Party at National Headquarters, PBSA Pak Delegation for 23rd World Scout Jamboree - Japan 22nd National Hike for Rover Scout 28 to 04 August, 2015 Solar Didactic Workshop at Kandersteg International Scout Centre from July, 2015 News from Balohichistan Boy Scouts Association The Solar Badge is being launched in Pakistan on 16th September, 2015 during APR Workshop on Environment Education in Scouting - Pakistan, being organized from September, 2015 at Islamabad. The Soft Launch is being held in Japan during 23rd World Scout Jamboree on 3rd August, 2015 I F T A R P A R T Y A T N A T I O N A L HEADQUARTERS, PBSA An Iftar Party was held on 4th July, 2015 at NHQ, PBSA, Islamabad, a joint event of Pakistan Boy Scouts Association and Tariq Pioneer Scout Rawalpindi. Syed Manzoor Hyssain Shah, Senior Scout Leader of Pakistan Boy Scouts Association organize this gathering every year in the month of Ramazan in which former Scouts are also invited. More than 70 Scouters attended this gathering and shared their rich experiences. They also paid homage to from 27th July to 8th August, 2015 at Japan. The theme of the Jamboree is WA: a Spirit of Unity. More than 34,000 scouts from all over the World are participating in this mega event which is organized after every 4 years. Pakistani Contingent headed by Mr. Sabir Hussain Niazi, Provincial Secretary, Balochistan Boy Scouts Association com prising of 84 scout s is also participating in this Jamboree.

Scouter as lead trainer solar activities at world Jamboree Scout Leaders organized Scout Course in Afghanistan Scouts Serve the Nation Rescue Services in Flood Areas Scout Activities at Summer Training Centre Ghora Gali Murree Hills Khatam ul Quraan Ceremony Mr. Muhammad Shuaib, International Commissioner PBSA also attended the opening Ceremony of the Jamboree and APR Conference preparatory meeting. Senior Scouters including (Two Karial Jawan, as claimed by themselves, Dr. Allah Wadhayo Baloch and Mr. Munir Ahmed Bhullar) will also visit the Jamboree site. Scouts from Branch Associations are participating after approval from their respective Provincial Association National Headquarters PBSA. and 5 Best Scouts (Gold Medalists) are also participating on invitation (sponsored) through operation Karara. The scouts will also visit Hiroshima & Nagasaki to pay homage to the victims. the hike. Detail of the Hikers participating in the hike is given as under: Balochistan 05 PIA 03 Punjab 20 Details of the Hike will be included in the next Pak Scout Newsletter. 4 SCOUT LEADERS ORGANIZED SCOUT COURSE IN AFGHANISTAN On the invitation of Afghanistan Scout A s s o c i at i o n M r. A m i r N a u s h a d, Commissioner Commun ity based Sindh areas are taking active part at their local level for the needy people affected by the flood. Provision of food, first aid, Te n t V i l l a g e a n d p r o g r a m m e communication are the main areas where scouts have been involved at local level activities. 8th Asia Pacific Regional Scout Youth Forum Korea 29th Oct, 1st- Nov, 2015 Scouting, PBSA & Mr. Faisal Jamil Shah Leader Trainer & Provincial Secretary, FATA BSA led the Scout Leader Course in Kabul Afghanistan. This was the 1st Course organ ize d by Afghan istan S cout Association themselves in which about 30 scouts leaders participated. Scout training modules were exercised in the 7 day course. SCO UT AC TI VITIES AT S UM ME R TRAINING CENTRE GHORA GALI MURREE HILLS The Summer Camp at Scout Nasheman Ghora Gali is providing several life skills and youth activities to the scouts of the country on rotation basis. Recently a scout 25th Asia Pacific Regional Scout Conference - Korea November 2015 SCOUT SERVE THE NATION RESCUE SERVICES IN FLOOD AREAS Scouts of Gilgit Baltistan, AJK, KP, Punjab & camp of Sindh and Punjab Scouts was visited by Senator Lt Gen Abdul Qayyum st Malik on 31 July, Mr. Zafar Bakhtawari and Mr. Muhamamd Ejaz Abbasi also accompanied. Mr. Muhammad Tariq Qureshi, Provincial Secretary Punjab Boy Scouts Association welcomed the guests.the Scout activities and camping standards were appreciated by Mr. Qayyum. In his address he encouraged the Scout Youth as well as the Scout Leaders for promoting National Integration.

AJK OFFICIALS MET AT NHQ, PBSA, ISLAMABAD Hafiz Tariq; Provincial Scout Commission AJK Boy Scouts Association & Chairman ulm_mushaikh Council AJK Chaired a meeting at Islamabad attended by the S e n i o r E x e c u t i v e o f A J K B o y Scouts.Important decisions regarding formation of committee to draft services rules / By laws of AJK Boy Scouts Association were Taken. Decisions for revamping AJK BSA were also taken. SCOUTS FROM JACOBABAD VISITED NHQ, PBSA, ISLAMABAD More than 80 Scouts from Jacobabad Sindh visited and stayed at NHQ, PBSA from July, An Educational visit of Islamabad for these Scouts was also manage d by the organizers. The contingent left Islamabad on 30 July, 2015 to reach Jacobabad through train. HAJJ SERVICES AT LOCAL HAJI CAMPS. Scouts serve in local Haji Camp every year. In 2015 more than 400 scouts are rendering services. from AJK Have been deployed. Hafiz Ta r i q M e h m o o d, P r o v i n c i a l Commissioner, AJK BSA alongwith Provincial Secretary & Dy Secretary visited and appreciated the services of the Scout Leaders. BRAVO- EXPERIENCE TO ATTEND CAMP STAFF PROGRAMME, USA Sc ou ts sele cted for Cam p S taff Programme at USA have completed their services and coming back to Pakistan with rich experience of International Scouting. The First arrival of Mr. Abid from Lahore has been reported, who is one of the gold Medalist, selected for US Camp Staff Programme.
