6 St. Lawrence University Community Service Scholarship l The Community Service Scholarship is a $40,000 scholarship over four years ($10,000 per year) awarded to students based on past and current participation in community service. Any students of U.S. and/or Canadian citizenship, who are applying as a first- year or transfer student and who have shown initiative and leadership in their work are eligible to apply for the Community Service Scholarship. Bennington Young Writers Awards Fall 2013 Each year, Bennington invites students in the 10th, 11th, or 12th grade to submit their original writing for the Bennington Young Writers Competition. First- place winners in each category are awarded a prize of $500. Savannah College of Art and Design Scholarships Academic Scholarships: must be regularly accepted to SCAD and exhibit academic merit.
