The annual convention pairs industry-leading education and networking with a large trade show where vendors who supply goods and services to our facilities showcase their newest innovations. You will notice a few new features to this year s event: National Quality Initiative To promote the National Quality Initiative, you will notice sessions that focus on the following: - Safely Reduce Hospital Readmissions - Increase Staff Stability - Increase Customer Satisfacation - Safely Reduce the Off-Label use of Antipsychotics Legislative Update We will have a recap and overview of events associated with the 90th General Assembly, including legislation relevant to long term care. Included will be updates from the Governor s Legislative Task Force on Health Care Reform. A special thanks to the education committee for their help in developing this year s agenda. We look forward to seeing everyone in Hot Springs! Rachel Davis Executive Director AHCA / AALA rdavis@arhealthcare.com

The Positive Approach and Hand Under Hand techniques will be explained in detail as well as how to apply it to multiple care scenarios to allow more confidence when training on these techniques.
