2 2018 Regional Equipment Operators Training Conference & Roadeo Conference Purpose: The 16 th annual Southeastern Regional Equipment Operators Training Conference & Roadeo will be hosted by the Arkansas Department of Transportation in Rogers, Arkansas, on September 4-6, Contestants from each participating state will compete in six categories in the operation of heavy equipment. The purpose of the event is to promote skill advancement for employees whose jobs require the operation of heavy equipment, to increase the safety awareness level of employees working in or around work zones, to increase employee morale and value, to strengthen presence of team spirit and teamwork, and to recognize the best equipment operators in a friendly, competitive atmosphere. Aside from the competition, operators are required to attend safety training classes, including judging horizontal and vertical clearances while operating equipment and testing the knowledge of employees regarding pre-trip inspections. 5 INDUSTRY EXHIBIT INFORMATION Release of Liability Exhibitor named on registration form shall be fully responsible to pay for any and all damages to property owned by Embassy Suites Northwest Arkansas and John Q. Hammons Convention Center, its owners, or managers which results from any act or omission of the Exhibitor. Exhibitor agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Hotel and each of its respective affiliates and their officers, directors, partners, agents, members, managers and employees (collectively, the Hotel Indemnified parties ) from and against any and all demands, claims, damages to persons or property, losses and liabilities, including reasonable attorneys fees (collectively Claims ) arising out of or caused by the Exhibitor s or its members, agents, employees, or independent contractors negligence in connection with the use of Hotel property, except to the extent and percentage attributable to the negligence of the Hotel indemnified parties. Exhibitor s liability shall include all losses, costs, damages or expenses arising from or out of or by reason of any accident of bodily injury or other occurrences to any person or persons, including the Exhibitor, its agents, employees, and business invites which arise from or out of Exhibitor s occupancy and/or use of the exhibition premises, the Hotel or any part thereof. The Exhibitor understands that the Hotel does not maintain insurance covering the Exhibitor s property and that it is the sole responsibility of the Exhibitor to obtain such insurance.
