About the Confeence N4C s Annual Confeence & Pofessional Institute is a pemie confeence attacting attendees fom colleges and univesities diectos, faculty, and teaches inteested in shaing innovative pactices, cutting-edge eseach and effective stategies in the cae and ealy education of young childen. The two and one-half day confeence includes a keynote speake, wokshops and netwoking oppotunities to enable attendees to expand and enhance thei knowledge of ealy childhood and povides an intimate exhibito oppotunity. Session Fomats Wokshop sessions will be 45 minutes. Confeence Attendees The confeence attacts a ange of education pofessionals, including eseach expets, administatos, teaches, univesity faculty, and child cae pofessionals. Attendees join togethe to shae ideas, expeiences, views, and thei passion fo quality childhood education. Wokshop content should be geaed towad an advanced audience. poposals to: The Confeence Committee invites you to submit a pesentation poposal fo the 2018 Annual Confeence. Poposals should be based on expeience, eseach and theoy applicable to campus childen s pogams. Documents should not be scanned o conveted to PDFs. Incomplete poposals will not be consideed. Poposal must be eceived by midnight Septembe 17, Announcement of acceptance of poposal will be sent via by Octobe 9, Poposals ae selected though a blind eview pocess by a panel of N4C membes. Only TWO poposals may be submitted pe pesente. 2. All pesentes must pesent at the time scheduled by N4C. Requests fo a specific day will be consideed but cannot be guaanteed. 3. N4C cannot offe financial suppot fo pesente attendance. 4. All pesentes must pay a confeence egistation fee. We stive to keep ou egistation fee easonable. Lead pesentes will eceive a $50 discount on the cost of the full egistation fee. 5. Advetising and/o sale of poducts, mateials, sevices, books o othe publications duing a pesentation o at any time duing the confeence is not pemitted. Oveview of Submission Requiements The Lead pesente must complete the poposal application below completely. Incomplete poposals will not be eviewed. The poposal application include: Pesente infomation fo ALL pesentes. Session tack selection. Title, 12 wods o less, that succinctly descibes the pesentation s content. A wod desciption of the content of the pesentation. An abstact, 35 wods o less, to be used in confeence pogam mateials. A one-paagaph summay of each pesente s backgound, expeience and qualifications to pesent the poposed pesentation. N4C will povide an LCD pojecto and a sceen. The pesente must povide a laptop and all othe equipment at his o he own expense. Selection Pocess Poposals ae selected though a blind eview pocess by a panel of N4C membes. The identities of the submittes ae not known by the eview panel. Poposals ae selected based on the quality of the poposal, elevance to ealy childhood issues, and the inteests of N4C confeence attendees. Poposals will eceive a esponse no late than Octobe 9, *NOTE: The RFP Committee will not view pesonal infomation to ensue the blind eview pocess.

The title should clealy indicate the topic of the pesentation. SECTION 5: Poposal Desciption and Abstact ALL 4 items listed below MUST be included in the PROPOSAL DESCRIPTION. Incomplete Poposal Desciptions will not be eviewed. The goal and/o pupose of the pesentation. The elevance of the topic to ealy childhood education. A bief desciption of the pesentation s oveall content, including any majo theoies, philosophies, and appoaches that will be highlighted. A minimum of thee leaning outcomes.
