2 Our client: A young media company based in the heart of Auckland, New Zealand A fun working environment, where you can contribute to real business success Looking for a driven Social Media Person to work together in a team to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and networks users The goal is to gradually achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, website traffic and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap Your responsibilities as part of a team: Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HL) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company s social content Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/ metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales, etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions

3 Internship Requirements: Proven experience in social media or related field Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability Fluency in English Possesses functional knowledge and/or personal experience with WordPress. 4 Working with the : You are not only working in New Zealand, but you will enrol in one of New Zealand s leading Institute of Technology, the Kiwi equivalent to a German Technische Hochschule, in an NZ government approved internship programme You will be supervised by an academic team to ensure you get the best possible outcome You will have access to world-class support services for all your academic and non-academic needs Upon completion of your internship you will get an academic transcript We will support you in: Finding accommodation (optional service) Arranging for a pick up service from the Auckland International Airport (optional service) Helping you with your visa application by providing you with relevant information Finding appropriate insurance for your time in New Zealand Finding affordable flights to New Zealand Finding your way in your new life and adventure in New Zealand (aka an orientation programme) We also ensure you have access to support people who speak German, just in case you need it

NZ $ for enrolling in the Institute of Technology NZ government approved internship programme including all applicable admin fees (may be covered by AuslandsBAföG) What are the benefits? For internships exceeding 12 weeks the NZ government asks candidates to apply for a work visa, which is often difficult to obtain By enrolling in a NZ Academic Exchange Services endorsed internship programme, you will be enrolled in a NZ government approved study programme at a leading Institute of Technology, and therefore become eligible to apply for a NZ student visa. Between 2011 and 2014, 100% of German students were successful in their student visa application You may be eligible for AuslandsBAföG and/ or a DAAD Stipendium to cover your flight and living expenses, since you enrol in a programme of a leading NZ Institute of Technology Typically your NZ Academic Exchange Services endorsed internship can be cross-credited to your home university s curriculum (subject to prior approval by your faculty; we will support you in this endeavour in the best possible way) Combine your internship with travel in New Zealand.
