2 Introduction - What is Hosco Hosco is a hospitality network that brings together all the hospitality industry s top talents and companies into a single online community. providing access to a community of over members, more than employers offering over jobs, internships and work placement opportunities. Created in 2011, Hosco is based in Geneva, Dubai and Barcelona and provides a platform technology for schools to manage careers and alumni which continuously growing and evolving. - Strategic Partnership Your partnership with Hosco will enable Pearson BETC HN in Hospitality Management to gain visibility in the hospitality industry with a branded landing page linking to Pearson social media, websites and HN Global, provide your students with more job & internship opportunities, and consolidate your own network, including all alumni, aiming to create a true community of passionate professionals. Moreover, you can use it as a professional social platform, make post and always be up to date with the latest news. The career department will be able to use it as a tool for the daily management of students and internship offer. In addition to this, you will get statistics in real time and track your student s professional activities. You will have the possibility to manage your job posts, create your own events, manage your members and develop relationships with partners by connecting with top companies. 3 How to use the Hosco platform as a student - Registration & profile set up Invite your students to register through the main page of Pearson.hosco.com, by clicking Join now and following the different registration steps, they will fully complete their profile. TIP: encourage your students to have their profile 100% completed, it is very important! Students will have more chances to match with relevant jobs and be proactively contacted if their profile is 100% completed. The Hosco network enables members to connect with over members and they can contact each one of them directly to build their own professional network! TIP: encourage your students to enlarge their community by connecting with Pearson s members. TIP: students can connect with members that have experience in the company they would like to work for and ask for advice! 2

4 - Access Employer directory In the menu, students can click Companies to find the top hospitality brands. They can search any company using the filters and follow the brands if they would like to receive news, and they can also contact them directly. - Job application Students must first click Jobs in the menu bar to search for job offers using the filters. To check exclusive jobs published by Pearson only, exclusively for Pearson s community, students can use the option Show jobs shared by my school only. If your student finds something interesting, they can click View job offer, read about the company and requirement of the offer and apply in one click Apply now. 3

6 TV Display - What is the TV Display and its benefits? The TV Display is a tool to promote your network at school, directly on campus. It will enhance visibility of the network and enable everyone to see the latest job offers available. Use this link This amazing on campus tool is an automatic open book of your network, events, jobs, premium companies and latest news that you can leave in your lobby, reception or at your events. It will continuously show interesting content to promote your school, boost visibility and member registration!
