2 Mission of PARP Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) is a governmental agency supervised by Ministry of Economy. The primary objective of our activity is to develop the sector of small and medium-sized enterprises in Poland. To support entrepreneurs, PARP uses the funds from the State budget and European Funds. One of the key tasks of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development is to support export, including strengthening of the competitive position of Polish enterprises on foreign markets and making it easier for small and medium-sized enterprises to get in touch with foreign companies in their business. To that end, PARP offers Polish SMEs an opportunity to participate in economic missions organized around the world, cooperative exchanges and fair events. Enterprise Europe Network operating under PARP provides an opportunity for the entrepreneurs seeking foreign partners to publish their company profile in the Cooperation Offers Database accessible by approximately 600 network units in Europe and around the world. Moreover, Enterprise Europe Network offers comprehensive services covering information, training and counselling measures mainly in the field of European Union law and policies, business activity in Poland and abroad, access to sources of financing, internationalisation of enterprises, transfer of technologies and participation in EU framework programmes. 5 Allocation of funds in the year Financial perspective for the years is going to be implemented in Poland through 6 nationwide Operational Programmes (OP) and 16 Regional Operational Programmes. Poland is going to invest most of the money from the EU funds into transport infrastructure, but the largest increase in spending EU funds will occur in the area of innovativenes and entrepreneurship support Regional Operational Programmes 31,3 BLN EURO Regional Programmes aims to suport the development of all regions. Those funds are manager by regional authorities.

8 Internationalization schemes GO TO BRAND Support for SMEs with high export potential based on innovative products and services Objective of the project: to disseminate the message about innovative nature and the high quality of Polish products/services from areas covered by the National Smart Specialisations and to continue actions contributing to building the positive image of Poland and the Polish economy in foreign market. Building the image of the Polish Economy Brand at the level of: selected product brands the sector as the section of the economy the country as a whole

9 Internationalization schemes EXPO 2017 Astana Promoting polish contribution in the field of energy (traditional and renewable), as well as energy efficiency in the areas of clean coal technologies, capturing, storage ant utilization of CO2, renewable energy sources (technologies related to biomass and production of energy from biological wastes with animal or plant origin), construction and revitalization of industrial areas. IT/ICT Programme Promoting polish companies from IT/ICT sector Presenting Poland s experience and achievements in IT/ICT sector worldwide (including stratetig markters ) promotion programme realized between

17 Investment projects examples Daimler AG to invest about 500 milion euros in new engine production in Jawor The Daimler s high-tech factory will produce four-cylinder engines for Mercedes- Benz passenger cars. The investor will employ several hundred people. Implementation of the project will be supported with public aid from the Polish government. LG Chem starts constructing EV battery plant in Poland LG Chem company, has just started the construction of the first plant in Europe producing batteries for electric cars. The investment, located near Wrocław, in Kobierzyce subzone of Tarnobrzeg SEZ, will create more than 700 new jobs.
