Industry training, and investing specifically in youth training and development, plays a crucial role in the success and growth of the Electricity Supply Industry. This award recognises an individual who has made a significant contribution towards the training of youth (aged years) through their enthusiasm and commitment to encourage and improve industry training for youth. Industry training plays a crucial role in the success of workers. By nominating colleagues for these awards, industry has a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to training. This award is open to people who have made a significant contribution to the Electricity Supply Industry through their enthusiasm and commitment to encourage and improve industry training. The winner will receive a cheque for $750 and a certificate.

2 Eligibility To be eligible for nomination, the nominee must have direct involvement in training roles like, but not limited to: Moderator Assessor Training coordinator Coach Training supervisor Mentor The nominee cannot be a previous winner of the Contribution to Industry Training Award. The Judges reserve the right not to present an award if in their opinion no satisfactory nominations are received. The judge s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Awards Dinner Nominees selected as finalised will be required to attend the Annual Connection Excellence Awards dinner in Christchurch on Thursday 4 th October, at Aircraft Hall, Wigram Airforce Base. All costs associated with attending the dinner need to be met by the nominee or the organisation the nominee works for. Finalists are welcome to bring guests at their own costs.
