Mission StatemenT Food Gatherers, a 501(c)(3) organization, is the food rescue and food bank program serving Washtenaw County, Michigan. We exist to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community.

Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive Food Collected: 100,000+ pounds Number of Participants: 95,000 Households For more than twenty years, the National Association of Letter Carriers has hosted the nation s largest single-day food drive. Letter carriers collect bags of healthy, nonperishable foods left at mailboxes along routes across the United States. National sponsors include Feeding America, USPS, ValPak, Campbell s and the United Way. Help Food Gatherers collect more than 100,000 pounds of food locally during the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive in Washtenaw County.
