3 SOLD HOUSING & CONSTRUCTION SUMMIT January 2014 A full-day event designed for all building industry professionals includes home builders, remodelers, designers, and students of the industry. Covering the similar topics as the International Builder s Show, the Summit offers an economic outlook for the building industry, exceptional learning opportunities for everyone involved in the building industry, as well as exclusive networking events, industry expo with the latest and greatest in products and innovation! Sponsorship opportunities range from presenting sponsor to booth space at the Housing and Construction Expo. Housing & Construction EXPO SOLD HOUSING & CONSTRUCTION EXPO January 2014 Held in conjunction with the Housing & Construction Summit this expo is an opportunity to showcase products to a targeted audience. Builders planning projects, including Parade homes, make it a point to attend this expo. Seeking exhibitors, contact the HBA for more details. EXHIBITOR HOME & GARDEN SHOW EXHIBITOR PARTY March 2014 Join fellow exhibitors in the HBA s Pavillion located in the Grand Gallery of the DeVos Place to celebrate the opening of the 2014 Home & Garden Show! Members of the HBA can enjoy food and drink as well as great networking. HBA members and guest exhibitors are welcome to join in and take a load off after unloading and setting up their booth. 5 PARADE OF HOMES Spring and Fall 2014 SOLD The Parade of Homes is a unique marketing program centered around the annual new and remodeled home showcase event. HBAGGR builder members showcase their craftsmanship while promoting future home sales. It is also a unique venue for member suppliers to present their products and services to nearly 200,000 visitors. The Spring Parade begins May 23 - June 7 and the Fall Parade runs October Within the event there are various partnership opportunities including Presenting Sponsor, Map, Guide, Parade Preview, and Tickets. HOME & GARDEN SHOW SOLD March 2014 The HBAGGR will again partner with ShowSpan and create an informational booth designed to educate the general public and promote our HBA members. The structure visually shows consumers what it takes to build a home and why it is important to use members of the HBA. The display is located near the entrance so everyone entering the venue will pass through the HBAGGR display. As with all events there are various opportunities to get involved with both volunteering and sponsorships. CERTIFIED GREEN HOME TOUR October 2014 SOLD New to 2014, held in conjunction with the Fall Parade of Homes, the Certified Green Home tour will showcase Green Certified homes. All certifications are by third party standards. Homes will feature both green and energy efficient products. Seeking title sponsor as well as home sponsors.

7 MEMBER APPRECIATION EVENT SOLD Summer 2014 We love our members, and our Member Appreciation outing is our Thank You for your support and participation within the Association. Sponsors of this event help us reach a large audience, and celebrate the summer! In 2013, our outing was to the West Michigan Whitecaps! Seeking one title sponsor for the member appreciation event. MEMBER SOCIAL GATHERINGS Networking doesn t have to be a formal event, and we hold several events through the year that are purely social an opportunity for our members to enjoy a laid-back evening of networking with a funthemed evening. Sponsorships can be designed to showcase your products through various formats, whether its through a table-top display, or presenting in front of an audience on our Brew Tour! PARADE OF HOMES AWARDS CELEBRATION November 2014 A great way to reach a large HBA audience, the Parade of Homes Awards Night is the place to be! During the Spring and Fall Parade of Homes, the homes are judged on many criterion, and the winners receive awards that are distributed at Awards Celebration November 6, Builders from the Parade of Homes attend to recognize their peer s workmanship, and it s a great place to meet a lot of builders all in one place. Those looking to obtain their Michigan Residential Builders License can choose to either take the course with a small group offering a oneon-one connection with the instructor; or take advantage of the convenience of the online course. CONTINUING EDUCATION Spring 2014 CAPS One of the many reasons our members belong to the HBAGGR is to keep up with the latest in the building industry. We conduct year round education programs designed to keep our members informed about the latest in safety, technology, legal and building code issues as well as industry specific topis (i.e. Green Building, remodeling etc.) Members earn continuing education credits by attending these courses is a renewal year for the Michigan Residential Builders Licenses so be sure to check our calendars for the best opportunity to attend our courses before the end of May! safety universal design technology certified graduate remodeler SOLD CGP CGR NAHB UNIVERSITY OF HOUSING SOLD Nationally recognized curriculum, right here in your backyard! For industry professionals who really want to set themselves apart the Certified Graduate Builder or Remodeler are custom-designed programs to take you to the next level. New Homes May 25 - June 9, 2013 Remodeled Homes June 8-9, 2013 A guide for everything for your home - From the Home Builders Association of Greater Grand Rapids Spring 2013 PARADE GUIDE Spring and Fall 2014 The Parade GUIDE is distributed at all Parade homes, and is a must for any company targeting the Parade attendee market and beyond. A digital version of the GUIDE is made available at mygrhome.com and in various mobile formats. The GUIDE is published for both the Spring and Fall Parades. Package rates are available for both the GUIDE and MYGRHOME. mygrhome Winter, Spring, and Fall 2014 MYGRHOME is distributed free to over 450 drop locations around West Michigan. The spring and fall issues feature the Parade Preview containing the address and photo of each Parade Home, maps indicating home locations and informative content. The winter Home & Garden Show edition is distributed to patrons attending the show. Each edition contains a buyers guide of all HBA members. Package rates are available for both the GUIDE and MYGRHOME MEMBERSHIP ROSTER Rates and ad sizes vary depending on the publication. WEST MICHIGAN BUILDER Monthly 2014 The official newsletter of the Home Builders Association published monthly and to all HBAGGR members. Each full-color issue delivers: Latest Association news & event coverage, local industry reports, news and trends, updates from HBAGGR councils, committees and the Board of Directors. MEMBERSHIP ROSTER Spring 2014 HBAGGR Annual Roster is used year round by the membership. Contains complete contact information for all members plus additional information those in the building industry will find useful.
