Students from all over the country & Puerto Rico just like you will be visiting for 1 fun filled weekend. Register EARLY! (Only 50 spots available) Register for Fly & Drive Visit Weekend at Deadline to Register is September 13, 2018 at 5 p.m. EST Apply to Goshen College Fill out Goshen College Application Online When you fill out the application skip over the FEE part. We will waive the app fee once we verify your attendance for Fly & Drive Visit Weekend Send Transcripts Contact your High School to send your transcripts directly to Goshen College before Fly & Drive Visit Weekend Address: Goshen College Admissions 1700 South Main Street Goshen, Indiana Plan Transportation Plan your car or van ride or book flight (See next page for details) Check out Travel Assistance material if interested What to Bring for Fly Trip: Clothing for the weekend. Friday (Full visit day need walking shoes) Saturday (nature walk clothes for Merry Lea & dress clothes for Kick Off which is a formal talent show event. See pics on schedule) Sunday (Comfy clothes for plane or car ride home) Toiletries (toothpaste, shampoo, toothbrush, etc.) Extra money for a checked bag at the airport or pay for bags in advance, it is cheaper. Carry-on bags are free on some airlines. Try to pack in only a carry-on bag if you can. Bed linens will be provided by GC. 1

2 Transportation Flying Options Flying Option 1 South Bend Arrival Thursday 9/27/18 Book Flight to South Bend International Airport At airport meet Goshen College Shuttle 1st shuttle departs South Bend airport at 11 a.m. 2nd shuttle departs South Bend Airport at 5 p.m. Departure Sunday 9/30/18 Meet Goshen College Shuttle at Goshen College s Welcome Center - Only shuttle departs at 3 a.m. Breakfast will be provided. This will get you to South Bend international Airport by 4 a.m. Board Flight home. Time will be based on the flight you booked. Option 2 Chicago O Hare Arrival Thursday 9/27/18 Book Flight into Chicago O Hare International Airport. Book a roundtrip Coach USA bus ride from O hare Airport to South Bend airport to meet Goshen College Shuttle * Book ahead and see schedule at At South Bend International airport meet Goshen College Shuttle 1st shuttle departs South Bend airport at 11 a.m. 2nd shuttle departs South Bend Airport at 5 p.m. Departure Sunday 9/30/18 Meet Goshen College Shuttle at Goshen College s Welcome Center - Only shuttle departs at 3 a.m. Breakfast will be provided. 3 Transportation Driving Information Driving Arrival Date : Thursday, Sept. 28, 2018 Location: Welcome Center S Main St. Goshen, IN Time: If driving to campus we ask you arrive to Goshen College Thursday night around 4 p.m. to meet your overnight host. Departure Date: Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018 Time: Continental Breakfast will be served from 3 a.m. - 3:30 a.m. the Welcome Center. We know many people have a long ride home especially people flying out early. Continental Breakfast will also be served 8:00am - 12:00pm at westlawn dining hall. Travel Assistance Policy Travel Assistance Policy Goshen College offers junior and senior high school students living more than 100 miles from Goshen, Indiana, travel assistance for a scheduled visit to the Goshen College campus. We will reimburse half of the transportation expense up to a maximum of $200 for one official individual visit or one official visit event. The scheduled visit must be scheduled through the Admissions office and include an individual appointment with an admissions counselor or another member of the Admissions team. Prospective students should submit applicable receipts no later than 30 days after the visit to their admissions counselor. Students are responsible for making their own travel arrangements. Plane, Train, or Bus: Travel assistance is for the student fare only. Students that live 300 miles or more, one way, from Goshen, IN are eligible for travel assistance for travel by air, train, or bus. Goshen College will reimburse 50% of the fare up to $200 after the student visits campus and submits an application for admission. Students should register for a campus visit BEFORE making travel arrangements. Car or Van: For students living 100 or more miles from Goshen. Reimburse the driver for direct mileage one way at.20/mile up to $200. Drivers can earn $10 for each additional high school junior, senior, or college transfer student they bring who submits an application, up to 4 more. 3
