4 EARLY REGISTRATION In an attempt to begin classroom instruction on the first day of school, we will again be conducting an early registration this coming August. Early registration for the school year will be held on the following day: August 22, 2018 (7:00 AM 5:00 PM) DHS Cafetorium A newsletter with additional specific information will be placed on the DHS website this summer. Your continued support and effort in helping us improve student learning at Denmark High School is truly admired and certainly appreciated. On behalf of everyone at DHS, we thank you. Freshmen Open House Attention all parents of incoming freshmen. On August 28th at 6:00 p.m. we will be having the Freshmen Open House. This is an opportunity for students and parents to learn about what high school will be like. It is also an opportunity to ask all of the questions you may have about high school, which will hopefully take care of some of the first year jitters before school begins. You will receive a letter with more details later this summer. Please mark your calendars for August 6:00 p.m. in the lower level of the cafetorium. We are looking forward to getting to know the students and parents of the Class of 2022!!

22 On Saturday, May 19th three students represented Denmark High School Music Theatre at the Center Stage High School Musical Theatre Awards Showcase at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton. Pictured (from left) are Jacob Breit, Tiffany Polzin, and Caleb Diny. Caleb received the award for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Grimsby in the DHS production of The Little Mermaid. In addition to Caleb, Jake and Tiffany also performed as part of the ensemble for the showcase, which featured the top talent from 17 participating schools across Northeast Wisconsin. Denmark's music theatre program was also honored with the Community Engagement Award, which Tiffany received on behalf of the school (pictured). The award recognizes a school's production for outstanding community involvement and support, which certainly is evident in the Denmark community through the countless volunteers who dedicate their time and talent to help produce the best show possible. Denmark High School Music Theatre students and production team members are humbled to receive these awards, and grateful for all of the support from the parents and community members.
