1 NEW YORK STATE FLOODPLAIN AND STORMWATER MANAGERS ASSOCIATION Our Website: nyfloods.org Fourteenth Annual Meeting, Syracuse, New York, April 27-29, 2015 Dear New York State Floodplain and Stormwater Managers, We are pleased to announce our 2015 Annual Meeting. The New York State Floodplain and Stormwater Managers Association (NYSFSMA) is a professional organization dedicated to promoting floodplain and stormwater management practices that reduce flood damages and protect water quality. Our annual meeting is an opportunity for members and other professionals to network and exchange ideas while acquiring updated knowledge and tools to promote sound floodplain and stormwater management throughout New York State and beyond. Students! To encourage participation by the next generation of floodplain professionals in the NYSFSMA, the Association will offer a 50% discount to full-time students on the cost of all meeting activities (except CFM Exam). With valid Student ID presented at time of registration, fulltime students will be admitted to all meeting sessions and activities at half the regular member rate. Please see the registration form for more information. We encourage all association members, interested professionals, community officials, and the public to attend this important meeting. Please complete the registration form and transmit it with payment to the address on the form. Continuing Education Credits for Certified Floodplain Managers: Six credits per full day or three credits per half day workshop. Applications for Professional Engineer PDH s credits are pending and are anticipated for workshops. Code enforcement official credits are available for several courses offered. Please contact us for specific details of creditable classes. Room Block Information: A block of rooms has been reserved for the Government Per Diem Rate of $96 per night. Ask for the NYSFSMA block. The room block is guaranteed only until Monday, April 6, 2015, so please make your room reservations early! Directions: Take I-90 to Exit 35.
