We continue to ask ourselves how we prevent flood losses after all of these years. Whether you subscribe to global warming, cooling, climate change or mother nature, none of us can stop large rain events. Our charge is to educate residents and community leaders on the true risks of flooding and engineer ways to prevent future loss. At the conference I hope you will find sessions to provide you with the tools to minimize the impacts of flooding in future years.
