3 SPECIAL EVENTS Happy New Years Join us in bringing in the New Year as we celebrate with our annual brunch. This day will have entertainment and food, as we serve the first 180 participants on a first come first serve basis. St Patricks Day Celebration Wednesday, March 14th 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Valentines Day Luncheon Come celebrate a magical day with friends and your loved ones. 4 Excursions Trip Registration Information Preregistration is required for excursions. To register or for information, call the center or visit the City website at Deluxe motor coaches and professional drivers are used on all trips. 1. All trips leave from the West Covina Senior Center, 2501 E. Cortez St. 2. Registration is accepted in person or online with our registration program DASH. 3. Full payment must be made at the time of registration. 4. If all seats are sold, a waiting list will be established. 5. Trips are subject to change without notice. 6. Trips may be cancelled due to low registration. 7. Participants must be at least 21 years of age and older for casino trips (Bring Valid ID) 8. Trips go rain or shine. 9. Special mobility accommodations must be requested 30 days prior to an excursion. 10. A credit will be provided only if cancellation is made prior to the credit deadline date. 6 Support Groups & Services Support Groups/Services EYE DAS (Support for the Vision Impaired) A non-profit organization dedicated to helping the visually impaired in the San Gabriel Valley. Membership is open to anyone with impaired, partial or no vision. Sighted individuals are always welcomed. EYE-DAS encourages those with visual problems to become more independent in order to be able to lead more productive and satisfying lives. 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. 1st Thursday of each month 6 NEW! Free Notary Services provided by Sona E Baghdassarian CalBRE Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Notary services will be provided the 3 rd Wednesday of each month at 10am by appointment only. For seniors 50 and older and only one page document notarized per person. Make an appointment at the front counter or call the senior center at (626) West Covina Dial-A-Ride West Covina Dial-A-Ride offers transportation to residents 55 years of age and older. Residents under the age of 55 that have a physician-certified disability are eligible. Fill out your application and submit here at the Senior Center. Valid identification required.
