2 August 26, 2014 It s hard to believe, but the summer is almost over and MAMA is gearing up for our 41 st annual conference. This year, the conference will be held at The Publick House Historic Inn, in Sturbridge, MA. The dates for the conference are Tuesday, October 28 Wednesday October 29, The inn is nestled on acres of beautiful countryside in the heart of New England along the old Post Road. Shading the Publick House are magnificent elm trees planted by the founder of the inn, Colonel Ebenezer Craft. Craft built the inn in The inn has been in operation, welcoming guests including George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and in 1997, the Massachusetts Airport Management Association. The inn has modern conveniences, air conditioning, heat and wi-fi, but the space available for vendors is very small. In fact, the space is called the Barn, and we will be setting up tables in what used to be horse stalls. We are not trying to discourage you from sponsoring, but, we do want to you to realize that large displays are not possible, and space will be very tight. However, these small rooms will give us a chance to have more breakout sessions, and smaller round table discussions. Paige Hall, next to the Barn, will be the general session and meal location. The conference will begin at 11 am with an amazing brunch. The Publick House is known for its delicious food and world famous pecan sticky buns, which come with every meal. From there, we will break off for afternoon sessions. The meetings will end by 4:30pm. At 6:00 pm, we will gather in the barn with the vendors for a fabulous cocktail hour. A sit down banquet with awards and speaker will end our first day. Day 2 will start at 7:30am with breakfast, followed by morning sessions until 11:45a.m.. At noon, we will all gather for lunch followed by a very special presentation, and end the conference by 2:00 pm. Sponsorship opportunities are as follows: Gold $ includes booth space and 2 registrations and all signage. Silver $ includes 2 registrations, no booth space, but all signage Bronze $ includes 1 registration and all signage, no booth space. The costs to attend the conference are $ for full attendance, Day 1 $45.00, Day 2 $45.00 or the banquet only, $ Rooms have been blocked for MAMA, and you must reserve by 9/28/14.
