It will spotlight the leadership roles of Sam and Elizabeth Colt in development of precision manufacturing and related endeavors. Join Jack Hale 70, Senior Warden of the Colt Memorial Church of the Good Shepherd, for a preview tour of the park site including the historic church and parish house and the Colt armory. See the spectacular view of the city and the Connecticut River from the armory s blue onion dome. Transportation provided. Come find out what our seniors say! Over the last five years, over 200 graduating seniors have participated in a senior exit interview in which they are asked to reflect upon their time at Trinity. Students are asked to describe their most meaningful academic and extracurricular experiences both on campus and abroad, how Trinity has prepared them for the future, and what they wish they had done differently during their time college. This talk will address this question in the context of the experiences lived by a Honduran Trinity historian in the aftermath of the military coup that ousted the democratically elected president of Honduras on June 28, 2009, Manuel Zelaya Rosales. Last year Hillary Clinton addressed the 2009 coup in Honduras and President Zelaya in her book, Hard Choices (Simon & Schuster, 2014), an inside account of the crises, choices, and challenges she faced during her four years as America's 67th Secretary of State. Details of the Crawley family wine cellar are among the topics of her expertise. 2

Skip will speak about his time on the USS Pueblo and being captured by the North Korean army for which he wrote the book, Bridge of No Return. Barry will share his experiences working for the CIA, and the issues that have enveloped the organization. 2:45 3:45 p.m. From Trinity to Calcutta and Back: 30 Years of Reporting and Photojournalism Ben Barber 65 will discuss his new book -- GROUNDTRUTH; Work, Play and Conflict in The Third World a collection of photos and vignettes about the development of dozens of countries in the Third World, and the people who live there. 3:00-4:00 p.m. Issues in Sports Today Sam Kennedy 95, EVP/Chief Operating Officer, Boston Red Sox; President, Fenway Sports Management; Jeff Devanney 93,Trinity College Head Football Coach; Rick Hazelton P 92, 93, 99, Trinity College Director of Athletic Emeritus; Kate Leonard 99, Coordinating Producer for College Basketball & WNBA, ESPN; and Matthew Greason 03, Trinity College Head Men s Ice Hockey Coach/ Head Golf Coach, will discuss topical issues in sports today including early specialization, sports recruiting processes, Fenway Sports Groups and running the organization both in business and in baseball, head injuries in sports today and the promotion and participation of women s athletics. 3:00-4:00 p.m. The Era of America s Environmental Renaissance Nathaniel Reed '55 and Dr. Michael Fotos, Trinity College Visiting Assistant Professor in the Public Policy Graduate Program and Yale University Lecturer in Political Science and Ethics, Politics, and Economics, will present on one of the most important periods in America's environmental history and his role in these important decisions. During this historic period the major environmental rules were dramatically improved by the passage of a number of laws that are the base of our national effort to protect and enhance water and air quality and to protect endangered species. Among highlights of this era were the formation of the EPA and the creation of the Council on Environmental Equality, the Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act and Magnuson Stevens Laws. 3:30-4:30 p.m. Love, Honor, and Squash: Field Research for Fiction 6
7 Lucy Ferriss, Trinity Writer-In-Residence, will discuss the research for her latest novel, A Sister to Honor, which took her from the Trinity squash courts to the remote Pashtun villages of Pakistan. Slides and passages from the finished book will illustrate the transformation of fact-finding experience into a world of the imagination. 4:00-5:15 p.m. Medical Advances Impacting Our Healthcare Perspectives on medical/surgical changes that have impacted our lives and the cost of our healthcare.
