1 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE November 16, 2015 Invite Vegas PBS Over for the Holidays Vegas PBS offers holiday-themed children s programming, dramas, musical performances, culinary shows and historical and scientific perspectives (Las Vegas) - Vegas PBS will air a variety of seasonal entertainment for children and adults starting Nov. 25 through Dec. 31. The holiday season on Vegas PBS is a cornucopia of educational shows, dramatic and comedic specials from popular series, performances featuring festive and inspirational music, and culinary programs inspiring viewers as they prepare their holiday meals. Vegas PBS General Manager Tom Axtell said, Holiday-themed entertainment can be an engaging, thought-provoking part of your seasonal festivities. The children s shows focus on helping others and resiliency and resourcefulness when things don t go as planned. The whole family has a wide range of entertainment including an examination of myths about Thanksgiving, seasonal concerts, and explorations of how other cultures celebrate the holidays. The Christmas Problem When Santa Claus is in trouble, Peg and Cat have to help him make, wrap and deliver presents for all the children of the world. The Penguin Problem Peg and Cat coach a team of skiing penguins who could have shot at Olympic gold.
