3 Opera Workshop Scenes Tuesday, November 21 th, 7:30 p.m. HBU's Opera students will present arias and scenes from favorite operas, directed by Daniel Bircher. Handel s Messiah Friday, December 1 st, 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Dunham Theatre HBU's choirs, soloists and a professional orchestra will once again ring in the season with the Christmas portion of Handel's great masterpiece, The Messiah. Terre Johnson will give a preconcert lecture at 6:30 for anyone who is interested. The concert and lecture are free and open to the public. The concert will feature HBU Alumni Laura McNeil as guest conductor. The band will perform musical works by John Mackey, Johannes Brahms, Anton Bruckner, and Dmitri Shostakovich.
