Virginia Tech welcomes you to join us for the 44th SME North American Manufacturing Research Conference (NAMRC) and the Manufacturing Engineering Division (MED) of ASME s 11th Manufacturing Science and Engineering Conference (MSEC2016) to be held on June 27 July 1, 2016 in Blacksburg, Virginia at the Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center. This conference is the premier international forum for applied research and industrial applications in manufacturing and design. Blacksburg, Virginia is the home of the Virginia Tech campus and is one of the top 10 places to live in the country according to Outside Magazine. Blacksburg, Virginia is also home to the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center which houses over 170 research, technology and support companies. This park is over 230 acres in a mountain setting and employs over 2,700 individuals. In collaboration with Virginia Tech, the CRC advances the research, educational and technology transfer missions of the university. The 2016 conference schedule will include keynote and technical presentations, expert panels, student poster presentations, an exhibition of industry partners, an early career forum, Virginia Tech tours, an awards banquet, luncheons and more. This conference will highlight cutting edge manufacturing research in technical paper, technical presentation, poster, and panel sessions. We have opportunities for you to sponsor and/or exhibit during the workshops and conference. There are two exhibitor levels available. The premium exhibitors will receive an opportunity to speak before the entire conference at Tuesday s opening lunch. Your company will also have a hosted, reserved table to entertain participants. All exhibitors will have price booth space located in the heart of The Inn at Virginia Tech in order to enhance your time with participants between sessions. Additionally there are sponsorship opportunities that may include exhibit space as well as various levels of acknowledgement in conference materials, bags, lanyards, and signage.
