Dear Duke Law Alumni, We hope you will join us at Duke Law School s Fourth International Conference & Alumni Reunion in Munich, Germany, on June 19-22, The weekend s agenda includes many social events at which you will be able to reconnect with Duke Law faculty and friends, as well as an exciting conference program with panel discussions on a number of timely topics. In addition, Duke University will be holding its International Alumni Leadership Workshop in Munich at this time, so you will have the opportunity to meet Duke alumni from around the world. Dean David Levi, the Law School s new dean, will be in attendance, along with Professors Jim Cox, Jerome Reichman, and Jim Coleman. Duke University President Richard Brodhead will also be there, participating in a panel discussion and giving a State of the University address. A luncheon, reception, and breakfast hosted by our Munich law firm sponsors; dinner at a traditional Bavarian brewery; tours exploring Munich s history and culture; and a special dinner and gala reception at the famous Seehaus Restaurant are among the weekend s social activities. Blocks of rooms have been reserved at the five-star Charles and four-star Eden Wolff hotels, both conveniently located close to the conference facility, Kuenstlerhaus.
