Continue your career abroad The Asian Development Bank (ADB) recognizes that many expatriate couples are dual-career couples. This means that, to succeed with expatriation, career continuity for the spouse is of utmost importance to a successful stay for the whole family. To help ADB attract and retain talented staff, ADB is offering career-related services for spouses and partners of ADB international staff seeking to find employment in the Philippines or in the region.

ADB does not offer to place you in a job, but the ADB Expatriate Spouse Career Services gives you the tools and support you need to launch an effective job search. ADB Expatriate Spouse Career Services offers a combination of individual coaching, group career workshops, learning sessions, and help with resume writing and LinkedIn profiling. Individual coaching will help you seek clarity about your opportunities in the local market and reach your career goals. Group career workshops will provide the tools you need to transition your career. Through these workshops, you will have the opportunity to meet other spouses and expand your network.

5 Our services Career Coaching Program: Through the program, you will learn about the local job market and other pertinent career-related topics. You will also learn how to brand and present yourself, become better at networking, get through a successful interview, and use LinkedIn effectively. You will join a group of around 12 spouses. Career Workshops: Should you wish not to avail career coaching, you can choose to join the career workshops only, which will equip you with the tools to kick-start your job search. Personal Branding: We can help you create an effective resume and an eye-catching LinkedIn profile. Career Cafés: Each month, we conduct career cafés which are half-day learning sessions whereby you can learn more about career-related topics and practice your job search skills. The ADB Expatriate Spouse Career Services is here to help you find the answers to your careerrelated questions. Location All workshops, career cafés, and coaching sessions are held at ADB headquarters, Manila. For spouses or partners of ADB international staff posted on a resident mission, coaching sessions are available via Skype.
