Discussion and possible action on approval of a resolution declaring intention to reimburse certain expenditures with borrowing in an amount not to exceed $4,000,000 and authorize the Superintendent and Chief Financial Officer to proceed with a financing plan to issue $4 million in Public Property Finance Contractual Obligations to finance the remaining food service equipment and other miscellaneous equipment and furniture for the construction projects. Discussion and possible action to recommend approval of the Addendum with TDIndustries for the reduction of the yearly guaranteed savings in the amount of $259, and also the reduction of the yearly maintenance and support services in the amount of $5, Discussion and possible action on second reading of TASB Board Policy Update #69. Discussion is to review updated (LEGAL) policies and act on (LOCAL) policies (see attached list). 32. Discussion and possible action that the Board of Trustees approve the submission for a waiver request to Texas Education Agency for exceeding the 22:1 limit in a fourth grade classroom at Alma Pierce Elementary. 33. Discussion and possible action to approve the local textbook adoption committee. 34. Discussion and possible action on naming Elsa Arce as a hearing officer. 35. Approval of Budget Amendments: BA ~ Amending the General Operating Fund in the amount of $38,990 as a result of transfers between functions and authorizing the Superintendent to implement said budget. (This is a transfer with no effect on fund balance). BA ~ Amending the General Operating Fund in the amount of $260,109 for the following additional positions: 2 Special Education teachers, 3 bus drivers, 3 bus aides, 2 Secondary Education clerks, 3 Section 504 aides approved by the Board of Trustees on October 16, 2003 and authorizing the Superintendent to implement said budget. BA ~ Amending the General Operating Fund in the amount of $122,505 for the following additional positions due to increased enrollment: 3 elementary school K-3 teachers for Kawas Elementary, Ligarde Elementary, and Zachry Elementary approved by Board of Trustees on October 16, 2003 and authorizing the Superintendent to implement said budget. BA ~ Amending the General Operating Fund in the amount of $905,000 to fund the construction manager-at-risk contract with, for the construction of a field house for Cigarroa High, and authorizing the Superintendent to implement said budget.

5 Page 5 of 9 BA ~ Amending the Fund budget in the amount of $789,326 to decrease the construction budgets for Cigarroa High and Cigarroa Middle for the field house since this cost is non-ifa eligible, and authorize the Superintendent to implement said budget. BA ~ Amending the Fund budget in the amount of $23,727 to increase the construction budget for J.W. Nixon High for the demolition costs, and authorize the Superintendent to implement said budget. BA ~ Amending the General Operating Fund in the amount of $1,131,000 for increases in estimated revenues and expenditures for technology and library services and authorizing the Superintendent to implement said budget. BA ~ Amending the Technology Grant Fund 411 budget in the amount of $657,400 from Fund Balance on the acquisition of real property, Block 270 ED (2001 Cedar) to relocated facilities of the IT department, utilize Dell rebates for this purchase, and authorize the Superintendent to implement said budget. 36.
