1 XXIX. Armeekorps (XXIX Army Corps) The XXIX Army Corps was formed in Dresden on June, 9^0. It participated in the latter part of the western campaign, moving via Namur and Dinant in Belgium to St. Quentin, Reims, and Paris. The Corps remained on occupation duty in the Reims and Epernay area of France until March 9^ when it was transferred via Breslau to Kielce, Poland, to prepare for the invasion of Russia on June 22, 9^.
