1 Mission Statement & Exit Outcomes MISSION STATEMENT "The Staff WILL provide ALL students with a learning environment and educational programs that enable them to become caring people and effective users of ideas and information." Exit Outcomes The goal of education at C.H.S. is to ensure that ALL students graduating from will have demonstrated competency in the following areas and will be able to: Demonstrate understanding of and concern for the global community. Demonstrate logical problem solving skills. Demonstrate ability to find, evaluate, and apply information. Demonstrate understanding of healthy physical, emotional, intellectual, and interpersonal habits. Demonstrate communication ability. Demonstrate aesthetic responsiveness and creativity. 4 Michigan Oil & Gas Producers Education Foundation *High school senior *GPA of 3.0 or higher *Demonstrate financial need *Must be accepted at a Michigan university or community college *Must be pursuing a degree in an energy related field of study with the ambition of seeking to obtain full-time employment in the oil & gas industry, an energy related industry or an allied industry *Award amount: $500 *Deadline: Must be postmarked by April 1, 2009 AAA Safety Patrol Scholarship *Must document proof of AAA Michigan Safety Patrol participation *Must have good academic standing *Must have a strong record of community and/or extra curricular involvement *Scholarship award of $1,000 *Deadline is 4/17/09 Kendra Ross Scholarship *Participate at least one season in track and field and/or cross country *Not offered a full scholarship from college of choice *Show love for people *Model leadership and teamwork in all areas of life *Award amount is $1,000 *Deadline is 4/17/09 Ferris State University Academic Opportunity Scholarship *Minimum 3.0 GPA *Preference given to minority students *Letter of recommendation *Submit an essay *Award amount is $2000/year Alumni and Friends Scholarship *Minimum 3.0 GPA *Submit an essay Kelso Battle Scholarship *Minimum GPA of 3.5 and ACT composite of 26 *Must be enrolled in Industrial Environmental Health Mgmt, Applied Math, Biotechnology, Industrial Chemistry, Pre-Engineering, Computer Info Systems, or any degree program in College of Technology *Award amount is $4000/year

5 First Robotics Scholarship *Must have participated in the FIRST Robotics Competition or First Vex Challenge *Must apply for admission to FSU by April 1 *Award amount is $1000 O'Brien - QUY Endowment Scholarship *Must be enrolled in the College of Arts & Science or College of Business or Collee of Education *Must have a 3.5 GPA *Must prove financial need *Must submit a letter of recommendation Minority Pre-Med Students: Hope College offers scholarships which can lead to more scholarships at U of M for students who are interested in majoring in Pre-Med and are African American, Mexican American, Mainland Puerto Rican, and/or Native American.
