14 Pst-MS DNP Clinical Dctrate fr APRNs The DNP is a dctral degree that prepares nurses with the knwledge and cmpetencies fr fully accuntable care acrss settings and ver time. The curricular cntent will enable the graduate t make cmplex diagnses, prvide evidence-based treatment mdalities, utilize sphisticated infrmatics and decisin-making technlgy, and assimilate in-depth knwledge f biphysical, psychscial, behaviral and clinical sciences. The expanded cmpetencies f the DNP enable graduates t independently prvide cmplex care acrss all settings including ambulatry, acute, cmmunity, and hme settings. The DNP degree represents the highest academic preparatin fr nurse clinicians. The degree is cnferred in any specialty in advanced practice.
