4 Good News The site visitors from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accreditation team that were at CSU this past February provided an excellent report on our nursing programs. We expect formal documentation about our accreditation later this semester after their semi-annual meeting. The Ohio Board of Nursing (OBN) has re-approved our pre-licensure nursing program for the maximum of five years after conducting a regulatory approval survey at CSU. Thank you to everyone who participated in these important events in any way. The CCNE site visitors reported that they were very impressed with the students the spoke with both in classes and clinicals. Our Nursing Resource Labs, located on all three floors of the new Innovations Center, are truly state-of-the-art. 11 Expectations of Nursing Students in NRL All students must wear uniform or lab coat in NRL at all times No food or beverages are allowed in NRL No children or guests are allowed in NRL No backpacks, purses, or cell phones when in NRL Use assigned locker on first floor of CIMP Complete locker form and return to NRL CLINICAL EXPERIENCE COORDINATOR S UPDATE Get your Flu shot before (deadline) or you won t be able to attend clinical Flu shots will be given on September 21 st ACE-MAPP Preparation for NUR
