An overall final summative evaluation of competent (3) in ALL criteria is necessary for advancement in the nursing program. Criteria identified with an ** are critical safety issues and student must achieve at least a score of 3 in those criteria to progress in the program. Course Outcome 1 Perform nursing assessments and deliver safe, appropriate, and competent care for assigned clients in the acute care and community setting. Program Outcome 2 Coordinate and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess patients and provide and direct nursing care that promotes optimal wellness of clients throughout the lifespan.
