10 N554 - Global Clinical Immersion Experience Online course Variable 1-3 credits (range of clinical hours) Grading Scale: Credit/No credit Course Objectives: Relate the knowledge of a country s history and culture to its health care systems. Examine personal belief system and its relationship to the ethical practices of the culture. Transfer the knowledge of global diseases to personal behaviors and clinical practice. Apply information about personal behavior, travel safety, and cultural awareness to the global experience. Perform in a culturally appropriate manner throughout one s experience in a country outside the US.

25 Estimated Cost of Global Experiences The approximate program fees outlined below are based on 4 week stays and subject to some variability based on the cost of airfare, accommodations, in-country transportation, administrative fee set by the partner institution, and length of stay. Barbados/Saint Vincent: $3,000 - $4,000 Honduras (10 days): $2,500 Nicaragua: $3,000 - $4,000 Tanzania: $3,000 - $4,000
