Award Nminatin Deadline: 4:30p.m. Friday, Mnday, September 16, 2013 Upn the receipt f yur nminatin, the Chamber will ntify nminees via . Nminees will be asked t cmplete an nline award applicatin. As this infrmatin is used by the judging panel, members nminated in mre than ne categry must tailr their submissins t the specific award categries. Generic submissins fr mre than ne categry will be rejected. The award applicatin requires cmpletin f the fllwing items, which will be used by the judging panel t determine award recipients. a. Business Prfile: [Maximum length 100 wrds] Yu will be asked t include a shrt bigraphy f yur business t prvide backgrund infrmatin fr the judging panel. Shuld yu be selected as an award finalist, this prfile will be included in the awards prgram and subsequent media inserts. b. Statement f Nminatin: Yu will be asked t indicate hw yur business meets the stipulated criteria fr the award yu have been nminated fr. As the criteria fr each award is different, specific details will be utlined in the supprting dcumentatin ed t nminees. Yu shuld als address any envirnmentally sustainable business practices pursued in yur regular peratins, cmmunity Invlvement, Charitable Giving. c. Letters f Supprt: Nminatrs/Nminees shall prvide a MAXIMUM f three letters in direct supprt f their nminatin. Judging & Ntificatin All cmplete submissins received by the deadline date (Mnday, September 16, 2013) will be frwarded t a judging panel cmprised f diverse business leaders frm the cmmunity. Representatives frm a nminated business cannt sit n the judging panel. As a grup, the panel will narrw the nminatins t the finalists. With finalists determined, ntificatin will be sent t all finalists n Tuesday, Octber 1, 2013 advising them f their status. Finalists will be asked t prvide a cpy f their cmpany lg in either a jpg r.eps frmat. Finalists will be asked t prvide prmtinal vide and still images t be presented during the awards night. Submissin Guidelines 1. Yu are encuraged t nminate any Richmnd business, including yur wn fr an award recipients (in any categry) must take a year ff, and are nt eligible fr nminatin in Finalists frm 2011 are free t re-submit nminatins in

2 3. Entrants may receive an award in ne categry nly. If the entrant is a finalist in mre than ne categry, the submissin will stand in the categry where the judging panel deems the business is strngest. 4. Submissin packages must be fr ne business nly. Grup nminatins are nt eligible. 5. A separate award submissin package must be submitted fr each award categry fr which the nminee is t be cnsidered. 6. All award submissin packages will be reviewed fr cmpleteness. 7. The Richmnd Chamber f Cmmerce reserves the right t limit the number f selected nminees, and/r withhld an award in any categry. 8.
