Creating a Legacy Ofelia Garcia Since 2013, Ofelia Garcia has donated some sixty-seven works on paper to the Museum, and this year she established a bequest through her estate. An Associate member, retired professor of art, and former college president, she said, What a joy to know that works I have loved for years will now be cared for, exhibited, studied, and enjoyed by many others.... Museum Happenings Final Friday: Wild Friday, July 28, 5:00 8:45 p.m. Watch a new interpretation of a classic painting (Edward Hicks s The Peaceable Kingdom) by Orbiter 3, listen to original campfire stories, stroll through the galleries with a park ranger, and dance to the Secret Sisters from Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Plus, Art Splash stays open late for Family Date Night. Free for members, guests $10. Member Savings When we say the kids in your life get in free, we mean it.
