2 This Month Dorrance Galleries Old Masters Now: Celebrating the Johnson Collection Through February 19, 2018 Alter Gallery 176 Patricia Urquiola: Between Craft and Industry Through March 4, 2018 In 1917, the most famous lawyer of his day left his astonishing trove of European art to the city of Philadelphia. One hundred years later, we re taking a new look at one of this country s most remarkable collections. Encounter treasures by the likes of Botticelli, Bosch, Titian, Rembrandt, and Monet and see how art historians keep making new discoveries about the collection. Exhibition Tours Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Want to delve deeper? Take a guided tour of the exhibition to learn more about its treasures. No reservation required. Internationally acclaimed designer Patricia Urquiola creates cool, seductive objects for the home and office. Perhaps more than any other designer working today, she has successfully fused the artisanal and the industrial. Explore a selection of her designs, as well as her creative process from concept to final product. Discover how she uses personal sources of inspiration a Japanese whisk, a broken seashell, the shape of antibodies to imbue objects and environments with a soul. For more information on the exhibitions and programs listed here, including generous donors, please visit philamuseum.org.

Jim Pagliaro has made a broad and significant impact on the Museum from being a Weekend Guide since 2003, to being a past co-chair of the Museum s Corporate Executive Board and serving two years as an ex officio member of our Board of Trustees. He s also a member of the Major Gifts Committee and the European Decorative Arts Committee. As a member of the Chairman s Council, he continues to support the Museum philanthropically, and in 2016 he also joined the Fiske Kimball Society by adding a bequest provision to his estate plan. For me, Pagliaro said, the Philadelphia Museum of Art deserves support not only as a repository for humanity s creativity and artistic achievement, but more importantly as the center for learning about and enjoying the arts in all their splendor in the heart of our historic city. To learn how you can leave your own legacy at the Museum, please contact Marygrace Gilmore, Planned Giving Officer, at or marygrace. gilmore@philamuseum.org.
