2 CHRIST THE KING JESUIT COLLEGE PREP OUR MISSION: Christ the King Jesuit College Prep, a Catholic school on Chicago s West Side and a member of the Cristo Rey Network, challenges and inspires its young women and men through the integration of academics, work experience, and extracurricular activities to lead lives of integrity, faith, and servant leadership for the greater glory of God. 348 total students in grades 9-12 CHRIST THE KING FACTS & FIGURES Our students work at one of 112 Chicagoland businesses and earn up to 70% of their tuition 60% Female 40% Male 98% African-American 2% Hispanic Average income for a family in the Class of 2019 $24,700 with family size of 5 Child poverty rate in the Austin neighborhood is 42% Since 2008, we have completed over 47,147 hours of community service For the 5th year in a row, 100% of CTK graduates have been accepted to college! Through the work study program, students earn up to 70% of their tuition, making the dream of a safe, affordable, faith-based, quality college prep education a reality, and allowing them to take ownership of their education. This year, RISE UP will be held in the fall of 2017 to kick off our 10th school year in style!
