We carry Nike and Babolat brands, as well as many others. Swing in and check out what we have to offer! Extension The Spa Boutique Open 7 days a week - Hours: 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. A visit to the Grand would not be complete until you experience the Spa Boutique. We offer aromatherapy candles, body lotions, and relaxing music, not to mention the latest styles in yoga and fitness apparel! The Spa Boutique is located on the first floor of the Spa Building. Extension Fine Art Exhibits Guests of the Grand Hotel Marriott Resort, Golf Club & Spa can now enjoy art that is thoughtfully incorporated into the décor. Exquisite prints and originals by the renowned Alabama native artist Nall are exhibited throughout the Main Lobby, Grand Dining Room, Spa, and in each guestroom. Guests at the Grand Hotel can be seen studying Nall s pieces, discovering something new with every glance. Nall s original work: mixed media, surrealistic florals, and landscapes that literally leave the edges of the canvas to extend on to the frame and beyond. Art is available for purchase through the Resort Shop. Originals may be purchased through Lyons Share Custom Frame & Gallery in Fairhope. The Grand Hotel also welcomes the work from artist, Ann Calagaz. Ms. Calagaz s fine art is displayed in the Mezzanine (2nd floor) of the Main Building. All of her pieces are available for purchase. The brand new tennis courts at the Lakewood Club at the Colony are fully equipped and staffed with professionals willing and eager to assist you. Our new facility includes nine hydra-courts and one hard court. For information and court times you may call extension Courts are complimentary to hotel guests and reservations are required. The courts are lighted for your evening playing pleasure. Oak Hollow Farms, a locally owned and operated horse farm, is waiting to take your family on an adventure! For information and reservations you may call the Concierge Desk at Extension Grand Bikes Bikes are available from the Beach Hut seven days a week between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Parents must sign a rental agreement for children to ride. Helmets are available and are required for all children. Bikes are complimentary for the first hour with a minimal charge thereafter. Please have them returned before dark.

6 Putting Green, Croquet, Horseshoes, Bocce, Ping-Pong, Volleyball All games are located on the North side of the property from Julep Point to the Grand Pool. You will find the volleyball net ready for play on the North Beach. Bocce Ball is available by calling your resort activities staff at Extension Fitness Center Open 24 hours, 7 days a week The Spa Fitness Center, located on the first floor of the Spa Building, overlooks the Marina and supplies you with a vast array of new equipment. Don t forget about the indoor lap pool located at the Spa! Tom Sawyer s Playground Located under the magnolia trees in the outdoor pool complex is our children s playground, featuring Tom Sawyer s tree house, climbing slide, digging tool, seesaw, and a whole lot of sand to amuse the little ones! Parents note: This area is unsupervised. Please enjoy this area with your children. Enter through the main gate of the Pool Pavilion and follow the walk to the left to gain access to the playground. The Grand Ducks The Grand Hotel is home to a flock of ducks that tolerate us quite well! They look forward to amusing you while you toss them cracked corn (available at the Concierge Desk).

7 Grand Fun Camp For ages 5-12 Parents may take advantage of our kids social program while you participate in one of our adult activities on property. Two sessions offered every day: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and 6-10 p.m. Kids will participate in age appropriate games, arts and crafts, and movies as well as resort exploration in a safe and monitored environment. Reservations are required at least 8 hours prior to the start of desired session. Fee: $35 per child The fee includes lunch or dinner. Cancellations must be made at least 3 hours prior to start of session. There will be a $20 fee for those not cancelled before that time. There will be a late pick up fee of $10 for the first 15 minutes and $1 for every minute thereafter. Must be 5 years of age and completely independent with bathroom needs; no exceptions please. For reservations please call or go by the Concierge Desk at Extension There will be no Fun Camp on Christmas Day. Grand Feature Pool The Feature Pool is open daily from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Grand Fishing Pier Whether you just want to sit and relax or catch the big one the pier is ready and waiting for you. You will find cane fishing poles and bait on the pier for your enjoyment. The Secret Garden Begin or continue your romantic traditions in our Secret Garden. Experts will help plan this special occasion with unique touches that are sure to amaze you. 9 All Week! Children s Jingle Bell Guess December 22nd-26th Kids, make sure to stop by our Concierge Desk, located in the lobby of the Main building, to take a shot at winning our jingle bell wreath! Write down your name and guess to see how close you can get to the exact amount. The winner s name will be posted at the Concierge Desk by 10:00 a.m. on Sunday. Children s Coloring Contest December 22nd-26th Children of all ages are invited to enter our Kids Coloring Contest. Stop by our Concierge Desk to pick up your coloring sheet and box of crayons. All entries are due by 7:00 p.m. Saturday. Winning pictures will be posted at the Concierge Desk by 10:00 a.m. Sunday. Family Fun Room & Toddler Area December 22nd - 26th, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. Visit Salons A-B in the Conference Center with family games and such just for you! Parents, this room is unsupervised. Ready, Aim, Fire! A Grand Salute to the Military This tradition begins every day in the main hotel lobby at 3:45 p.m. with a brief historic presentation, followed by a procession around the Grand Hotel grounds, concluding with the firing of the cannon at approximately 4:00 p.m. This is a salute to today s military and those who have passed through this historic resort. The Ringing of the Bell at Sunset A Southern Tradition which signals the end of the day and the beginning of the night. Let the bell s toll move you to the porch of Bucky s to enjoy a spectacular Mobile Bay Sunset. The sunset is so beautiful; we had to concoct a drink in honor of it - the Mobile Bay Sunset touting the same gorgeous colors displayed as in the sky. We begin our celebration thirty minutes before sunset so get there early; seats begin filling up at least an hour prior. Sunset is at approximately 4:55 p.m.

A Picture Perfect Christmas 12:00 p.m. Do you plan on taking countless pictures this weekend? Come make your own frame to remember how much fun you had at the Grand Hotel! Join us in the Family Fun Room in Salon A-B in the Conference Center. Santa Claus is Coming to Town 2:00 p.m. And he s bringing his sleigh full of goodies! Come make your own sleigh to keep all your Christmas candy in this weekend. Just to make sure you fill it up, we ll bust a piñata full of yummy holiday treats! Located in Salon A-B. The best player wins a prize so come show us your talent! A Christmas Story 7:00 p.m. Come enjoy a holiday classic with our Resort Activities staff in Salons C-F in the Conference Center! We ll be watching A Christmas Story on the jumbo screen. This is a pajama party so don t forget your pajamas, pillow and blanket! We are also serving popcorn and drinks that you can enjoy while watching the movie! Thursday December 23, 2010 Coffee in the Grand Coffee Shoppe 6:00 8:00 a.m. Hot steaming coffee is provided in The Grand Coffee Shoppe located in the Main Building just for early risers. Enjoy a cup of our famous brew while you read the papers, chat with other guests, or enjoy the beauty of the Grand surroundings. Bike Ride to Confederate Rest 8:00 a.m. Join our Resort Activities staff at the beach hut for a ride over to the Confederate Rest Cemetery. Our guide will be happy to tell you a little history on the way. Feel free to stop and look around as well, we think you will find it very interesting!

12 Christmas Ornament Creations 12:00 p.m. Join us in the Family Fun Room located in Salon A-B in the Conference Center to make new and fun Christmas ornaments. We ll supply all the materials, including the Christmas music to put you in the spirit of this magical holiday season! Catch the Reindeer! 2:00 p.m. Join our Resort Activities staff near Craft Patio to play an invigorating game of catch the reindeer! Afternoon Tea 4:00 p.m. You are cordially invited to join us in the Grand tradition of afternoon tea located in the Upper Lobby of the Main Building. It is our pleasure to provide you with an assortment of delicious cookies, coffee and specialty teas. Winter Wonderland 4:30 p.m. If you re dreaming of a white Christmas, this craft activity is for you! It will be held in the Family Fun Room in Salon A-B in the Conference Center. We will provide you with all of the materials for you to create your own snowman, snowflakes, and even a snow-covered tree to decorate your room for the holidays! Elf! 7:00 p.m. We re calling all children! Join our Resort Activities staff in Salon C-F in the Conference Center to watch the fantastic movie Elf! This is a pajama party so don t forget your pajamas, pillow and blanket! We are also serving cookies and drinks that you can enjoy while watching the movie!

Let s find out! All ages are welcome to join our Resort Activities staff in the Family Fun Room in Salon A-B in the Conference Center for a hilarious and exciting contest! We ll provide the necessary materials and the present. The person who wraps their present the best in the given amount of time gets to keep the present they wrapped. Be prepared, there may be more challenge to this contest than you think! Candy Cane Hunt Bags 1:00 p.m. Join our Resort Activities staff in the Family Fun Room located in Salon A-B in the Conference Center to decorate your own bag for the candy cane hunt which will take place tomorrow at 3 p.m.

Children will have a chance to hang their stocking at the Fireside Reading, located in the Sky Lounge at 4:30 p.m. Don t forget to check your stocking on Christmas morning to see what Santa left for you! We ll even show you how to make your cupcake into an ornament, so bring your creativity and your sweet tooth! Carriage Rides 2:00-5:00 p.m. Take in the old southern charm of the Grand Hotel while you trot around the property in a horse-drawn carriage. The carriage will be loading passengers in front of the North Bay House for memory-making rides. Candy Cane Hunt 3:00 p.m. Gather up the family and meet our Resort Activities staff at the Cascades to search the grounds and try to find as many candy canes as possible. The winner will receive a prize, but all of the contestants will get to take home their candy canes!
