Scholars have shown that when religious freedom for all is protected in law and valued in culture, it brings with it political stability, equality for women, economic growth, and social harmony The 2017 St. Thomas Church Giving Tree Program concluded the first week in December. More than 70 children received clothing and gift cards through your generous donations. Working with the Thomaston Christmas Committee and other donors, the Program was also able to provide 35 warm coats, mittens and hats, as well as pajamas, to families with children in need from our community. Your generosity is inspiring! Thank you from the children and their parents.
