1 NJS Age Group Chair / Tech Planning Report - May 16 th 2012 NJS HOD - Submitted by Tristan Formon REPORT ITEMS Please forward any additional bids for the 2012 Summer Season to the NJS Office 2013 NJS Senior State Standards submitted for web posting 2013 NJS Gold, Silver, Times submitted for web posting &U SB Championship Regions finalized and submitted for web posting NJS Calendar (below). bids have been received from many meet hosts and others are anticipated. NJS are seeking any new meets for the upcoming Calendar. Please submit bids to the NJS Office. Once meets have been added to the meet template, a copy will be furnished to each member club bidding upon a meet for review. EASTERN ZONE ING 2012 Eastern Zone Super Sectional If there are more than 600 athletes swimming individual events, there will be a D Final offered for 18 & Unders. The Eastern Zone has two contacts in place to review / approve Open Water meet announcements. NJS will need to provide Independent Safety Monitors to be on site to evaluate meets throughout the Open Water Season. Due to overcrowded decks at Eastern Zone AG Champs, each LSC will be limited to 10 non athlete deck passes. Each LSC will need to specify how many coaches, managers and chaperones will be on deck prior to the meet Eastern Zone Northern Section Host - STAR Swimming Location Erie Community College, Buffalo NY Dates - March Long Course Meters Standards remain unchanged from 2012 entry fees to increase $1 per splash 2013 Eastern Zone All Star Age Group Champs Host - FAST Location Webster High, Rochester, NY Dates - March Once again it was a privilege to represent this body at the Eastern Zone Spring ing.
