4 Gateway program to second year undergraduate entry UVM Global Gateway Program. 31 Average undergraduate class size For international students who meet UVM admissions requirements but need additional English language support, the UVM Global Gateway program provides one general undergraduate pathway that combines English training and UVM course credits. This approach facilitates a smooth progression into 17:1 Undergraduate student to faculty ratio degree success and helps students fully integrate into American university life while enjoying the complete UVM experience. Fully-qualified international students may also apply for direct entry into the university. Leading to the following UVM Majors. UVM offers an array of majors and minors taught by nationally recognized faculty. With so many choices it s ok to be uncertain about your choice because all but one of UVM s 7 undergraduate colleges and schools allow an undeclared major. Students are required to choose an undergraduate school as an academic base, but, in most cases, a student will not have to select a major until the end of the first or second year at UVM.
