Deadline for submitting application: (07/03/18) - time 13:00 (01:00 P.M.) Call and result of the selection procedure: Erasmus Plus is the EU programme in the fields of Education, Training, Youth and Sport 2014/2020. The Erasmus+ programme for study allows university students to increase educational opportunities aimed at acquiring the necessary skills to favour their transition to the labour market. To this purpose Erasmus+ provides students with the opportunity of studying abroad totalling up to 12 months maximum per each cycle of study and 24 months in one-cycle study programmes, regardless the number of mobility periods (i.e.: 2 periods of 6 months or 3 periods of 4 months). Erasmus students will receive a grant and may attend courses and use the available structures without further registration fees (in some cases small contributions might be requested as for local students). All activities abroad (with a positive result) will be fully recognized provided they are approved by the Learning Agreement/Change Form.

Pag 2 Full recognition of activities carried out abroad is one of the commitments undertaken by Sapienza University of Rome by approving the Erasmus Policy Statement (EPS) and the "Regulation for Student Mobility and Recognition of Study and Training Periods Abroad." (Rectoral Decree Prot. n ). ART.1.2 PARTICIPATING COUNTRI During the Academic Year , students may participate in the Erasmus+ Programme for Study at universities in European Union member states and other participating countries (Programme Countries). All students can apply for locations which do not require specific language skills. Only students who have a language certificate required by the host University are eligible for said locations. Furthermore, certificates must be certified and compatible with the language skill level required by the host University (level A1 A2 B1 B2 C1 C2 following the European model). FIRST REQUSITE The number of passed exams at the moment of application until the end of the year of the programme in which the student is enrolled, excluding the English exam and pass/fail courses; for students enrolled in Specialization programmes in Medicine and Surgery,is mandatory to indicate the degree programme (A-B-C-D-E-F); because the current academic year degree programme will be used for the rankings (2017/2018). The first year of enrolment in the degree programme will be used to calculate the years of enrolment. Students coming from other Faculties or Degree programmes must declare the academic year of the enrolment in the Degree programme. SECOND REQUISITE The exact GPA (rounded to two decimal places) with the grades of the passed exams; 30/30 with honours counts as 31. For Specialization/Doctoral students the following criteria will be used: - Year of enrolment: those who are closer to the conclusion of the specialization/doctorate will receive priority - Final evaluation of the last year - In cases of equality, the evaluation from the professor coordinating the exchange

SCORE ASSIGNEMENT FOR THE REQUIRED REQUISIT Pag 19 The highest score, which can be obtained by a student, is 10: First requisite highest score 5 Second requisite highest score 5 First Requisite PERCENTAGE STUDY CREDITS The number of the exams passed by the student will be divided by the number of exams that the student should have passed. The fraction will be multiplied by 5. Pass/Fail courses are not taken into consideration. Second requisite GPA The GPA will be counted as follows. The value for 30 and honours is 31. The score will be calculated with the following formula: - Health Professions: (5 x (-(24-GPA votes)))/7 - Medicine and Surgery/Dentistry and Prosthetics Devices: (5x(-(26-GPA votes)))/5 On the base of this criterion, the commission will establish a provisional ranking of admitted students. The ranking will be published on the notice board of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medicine and Dentistry (ground floor) and at the following links: This communication should be considered official. The ranking will be considered final if, within seven consecutive days from its publication, no appeals are presented personally to the Faculty RAEF, during usual office hours. Appeals sent by mail, by or by fax will not be considered valid. No appeals will be accepted after the deadline.

Pag 20 In case of simple calculation errors (number of exams GPA etc.) appeals are not necessary; it will be enough to notify the RAEF (Luana Girolami) in person or by phone/ to check the data and the potential errors. The final rankings will be affixed to the notice board at the Faculty s Dean Office and published on the Faculty s website: This communication should be considered official. Incomplete requests, requests which are not signed and requests presented after the deadline will not be accepted. ART. 6.2 ACCEPTANCE OF THE MOBILITY Simultaneously with the publication of the information, it will be communicated the meeting date for destinations assignment through the and the faculty websites. The meeting will be in the month of March and all the students present in the rankings are required to participate. The students who will not be present will lose the right to the assignment of a destination. It is therefore mandatory, in case of impossibility to participate at the assignment meeting, to be represented by a person formally delegated (by delegation and copy of a document of identity of the delegator and of the delegate). The student, who renounces the available destination, will lose the right to any further assignment. The final assignment of the Erasmus+ mobility is subject to: - formalization of the Learning Agreement - signing of the Financial Agreement between the student and Sapienza. Inclusion in final rankings will not automatically entitle to a mobility period, since the actual assignment will also depend on the verification of the respect of learning restrictions defined by the Faculty and the selected receiving institution. Note: However, the student s mobility is subject to acceptance by the foreign Institution (i.e.: academic curriculum, language skills) which might require further certificates or reject the application on the basis of its rules not specified in the interinstitutional agreement signed with the partner University.

ART. 6.3 RENUNCIATION TO THE MOBILITY AND REPLACEMENT Pag 21 The acceptance of the mobility is a serious committment by the candidate. Thus, accepted students are expected to limit renunciations, after acceptance or at the beginning of the mobility period, to serious and proven matters of force majeure, which must be communicated in writing and duly justified to allow timely replacement by the first reserve candidate. The destinations which will still be available after the assignment meeting, due to a lack of students with adequate linguistic certification, will be assigned scrolling through the ranking to students who will deliver the language certification from June 21st to July 12th of 2018, to use it in the second semester. At the same time, destionations which have been renounced will be reassigned. ART. 6.4 LEARNING AGREEMENT All students who accept the assigned destination are required to fill out the official study plan (Learning Agreement - L.A.). The L.A. is a document that is prepared before departure and defines the learning activity to be carried out abroad (exams, thesis research). The L.A. must be approved by the Academic Mobility Coordinator (RAM List published at. and signed by the student and the receiving Institution to ensure the student recognition of credits taken abroad for passing exams/thesis. Students must fill out their L.A. on their personal webpage at: The definition and subsequent approval of the Learning Agreement are mandatory to start the mobility period. ART. 7 ONLINE LINGUISTIC SUPPORT AND EU SURVEY ART. 7.1 ONLINE LINGUISTIC SUPPORT (OLS) The Erasmus+ Programme allows selected candidates to take a compulsory online test to assess language skills before and after the mobility, if the learning language during the period abroad, specified in the Learning Agreement, is one of the following: Bulgarian, Czech, Croatian, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, Hungarian, German, Greek, Polish, Portoguese, Rumanian, Slovakian, Spanish and Swedish, except students who are assigned a mobility to Switzerland. On the basis of the result in the assessment test, the student may receive a licence for an online preparatory language course. Procedures concerning the language test will be communicated directly to the student at the address provided on the application form. ART. 7.2 EU SURVEY

Pag 22 At the end of the mobility period, participant students, except students who are assigned a mobility to Switzerland, will be required to fill out the EU SURVEY. Information concerning the procedures to be followed will be sent directly to the address used by the student on the application form. ART. 8 RECOGNITION OF THE EXPERIENCE Under the "Rules for Student Mobility and Recognition of Study Periods and Training Abroad R.D. N , in the framework of the EU Erasmus+ Programme, Sapienza students have the opportunity to be awarded a mobility, whose results are recognized and directly transferred into their carreer. ART. 9 PROCEDUR AND LOGISTICS - In order to plan their curricular project at the host university, students should carefully examine all available information on the websites before applying. In fact, this information is binding for receiving the mobility assignment. - For degree, PhD or Specialisation thesis work, after having consulted the website of the host university, students must agree on the project with their Italian supervisor and Academic Mobility Coordinator, based on the agreement with the partner professor at the host university. - At the end of courses, Erasmus students must take the planned exams following the programmes and procedures provided for students of the host university. Performed learning activities will be recognized as provided by the Faculty and the Rules for Student Mobility and Recognition of Study Periods and Training Abroad. Credits exams taken at host universities must be acquired respecting all the rules and regulations of the degree programme curricula. - Usually, foreign universities do not provide student housing for Erasmus students. Housing information is available on the websites of partner universities. Students should check any deadlines or specific procedures to be followed. Furthermore, students must seek information autonomously with reference to rules regulating: - Health Assistance in the host country, requesting information from their local health office or diplomatic missions, or at the following link: - Admission to the host country through timely inquiry at the relevant diplomatic missions (Embassies and Consulates) in Italy (for non-eu citizens). Laws regulating the entrance of non-eu students in Countries participating in the Erasmus+ Programme are related to the nationality of these students. The student is responsible for seeking information, in good time, and obtaining the documents that allow admission and stay in the destination country, by inquiring at the relevant diplomatic missions. - The civil responsibility and accident insurance coverage, that students enjoy automatically when registered at Sapienza, is extended with the same procedures for the entire mobility period abroad at the host university:

- Students on mobility periods must: Pag 23 a) autonomously procure their own health and travel insurance for the entire stay abroad, based on the conditions in the host country; b) autonomously find information about possible laws regulating admission to the host country, by timely inquiring at the relevant diplomatic missions (Embassies and Consulates) in Italy. For the Faculties of Pharmacy and Medicine (MEDICAL AREA) and Medicine and Dentistry: Erasmus students are not required to attend lessons and Faculty ADP/APP during the student s stay abroad. During a one-year Erasmus period, students may take a maximum of 60 CFUs, as per the Italian order (5 CFU per month), and following the curriculum of the university at which he/she is enrolled. Elective internships during the Erasmus period the CFU will be recognized as per the curriculum of the academic year of reference (not more than 1 CFU in one semester). Since there is no correspondence between the universities that participate in the Erasmus programme, students have the opportunity to attend a part of a given programme on the Erasmus mobility period and complete it at Sapienza University. Students cannot take the Legal Medicine and Public Health exam on Erasmus. During the stay abroad, students may temporarily return to Sapienza to take exams, but only and exclusively during interruptions of the educational activity at the partner institution, demonstrable through official documents issued by the host university. Erasmus students can also take exams for subsequent years abroad, as long as the curricular requirements are respected (i.e., a student enrolled in the 4 th year will be able to take exams abroad which are included in the didactical order of his degree programme for the 5 th and 6 th year). Erasmus students may decide not to accept the grades received for exams taken abroad, included in the official transcript issued by the Partner Institution. To implement this procedure, student must follow the on-line instructions in his personal page ( )

Pag 24 The evaluation of the traineeship will be counted as an exam vote only if the Faculty reserves this option to all students, in absence of normal classroom activities and final exam. The Erasmus experience has been included in the evaluation of the final thesis of the degree, as follows: For the students enrolled in the Medicine and Surgery Degree and Dentistry Degree - 3 to 5 months abroad = 1 point - 6 or more = 2 points (from 5 months and 16 actual days) For the students enrolled in the Health Professions Degree 1 point regardless of the length of the period ART. 10 ACTIVITI AND GRANTS Activities and grants provided for in this call are subject to the signature of the Erasmus+ Convention 2018/2019 between the Erasmus+ National Agency and Sapienza University of Rome. Please note that the information contained in this call may undergo changes and/or integrations based on subsequent updates and regulations by the Erasmus+ National Agency. ART. 11 CHECKS As per Art DPR /12/2000, the university will verify application information randomly and in any case that poses reasonable doubts on the information provided by self-certifications. Non-compliance of information, declared or self-certified, costitutes a cause of exclusion/forfeiture. ART. 12 TREATMENT OF PERSONAL DATA The personal data of all applicants will be used for selection procedures and subsequent project phases, for institutional objectives in the framework of the Public
